四川邮电职业技术学院创办于1956年，是四川省人民政府批准成立的公办高职院校，是国家骨干高等职业院校，中国西部第一所独立设置的邮电通信类高职院校。学校位于成都市锦江区三环路内，紧邻成都东客站，地理位置优越，交通便利。2019年入围“中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划”建设单位，被认定为国家优质高职院校；2014年以“优秀”等级通过国家骨干高职院校建设项目验收。

Sichuan Vocational College of Post and Telecommunications was founded in 1956. It is a public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Sichuan Province, a national backbone higher vocational college, and the first independently established post and telecommunications college in western China. Located within the Third Ring Road in Jinjiang District, Chengdu, adjacent to Chengdu East Railway Station, the college enjoys a superior geographical location and convenient transportation. In 2019, it was selected as a construction unit of the "China特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划" (China's Higher Vocational Education Reform and Development Plan) and recognized as a national high-quality vocational college. In 2014, it passed the acceptance of the national backbone higher vocational college construction project with an "excellent" rating.

学校立足邮电行业，围绕邮电通信与信息产业和现代服务业，设有现代通信技术、现代移动通信技术、物联网应用技术、信息安全技术应用等23个专业，其中国家骨干院校重点建设专业5个，四川省级重点建设专业4个。拥有与通信运营企业同步的实验实训环境，教学仪器设备总值1.05亿元，建有70余个实训室及129个校外实习基地。毕业生主要面向通信运营商、部队等单位就业，就业质量高。

Based on the post and telecommunications industry, the college offers 23 majors including Modern Communication Technology, Modern Mobile Communication Technology, Internet of Things Application Technology, and Information Security Technology Application, among which 5 are key construction majors of national backbone colleges and 4 are key construction majors of Sichuan Province. It has experimental training environments synchronized with communication operation enterprises, with a total value of 105 million yuan in teaching instruments and equipment, and has built more than 70 training rooms and 129 off-campus internship bases. Graduates are mainly employed in communication operators, military units, etc., with high employment quality.
