商洛职业技术学院创建于2005年，是经陕西省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，由陕西省教育厅和商洛市人民政府共建共管的综合性全日制公办高职院校。学院坐落于秦楚文化交汇地、享有“秦岭最美是商洛”美誉的“中国气候康养之都”商洛市，先后被授予省级“文明校园”“平安校园”、教育部《高等职业教育创新发展行动计划》试点项目学校、陕西省高职学校高水平专业群建设单位。

Shangluo Vocational and Technical College was founded in 2005. It is a comprehensive full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and co-built and managed by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and the Shangluo Municipal People's Government. Located in Shangluo City, a place where Qin and Chu cultures meet, known as "the most beautiful place in the Qinling Mountains is Shangluo" and "China's Climate and Health Capital", the college has been awarded provincial-level "Civilized Campus", "Safe Campus", a pilot school for the "Higher Vocational Education Innovation and Development Action Plan" of the Ministry of Education, and a construction unit for high-level professional groups in Shaanxi vocational colleges.

学院现校区占地608亩，固定资产6.7亿元，建筑面积25万平方米；设有医学院、护理学院、师范学院等7个二级教学单位，开设30个三年制高职专业，形成医护、教育类专业特色鲜明，汽车、机电等工科类专业后发快进的专业格局。现有教职工500余人，校内外实验实训馆室、基地288个，在籍学生1.37万人，毕业生平均就业率达90%以上。

The college's current campus covers an area of 608 mu, with fixed assets of 670 million yuan and a building area of 250,000 square meters. It has 7 secondary teaching units including the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Teacher Education, offering 30 three-year higher vocational majors. It has formed a professional pattern with distinctive features in medical care and education majors, and rapid development in engineering majors such as automobile and electromechanical. There are more than 500 faculty members, 288 on-campus and off-campus experimental training rooms and bases, 13,700 registered students, and the average employment rate of graduates exceeds 90%.
