陕西交通职业技术学院是由陕西省人民政府举办的公办高等职业院校，以培养高素质交通技术技能人才为己任，建校72年来累计培养人才八万余名，被誉为“中国西部交通建设管理人才的摇篮”。学校位于古都西安，前身为1952年成立的陕西省人民政府交通厅干部训练班，1956年改称陕西省交通学校，2001年升格为高职院校并定名，2011年实行省教育厅、省交通运输厅共建机制。

Shaanxi College of Communication Technology is a public higher vocational college run by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. It is committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents in transportation. Over the past 72 years since its establishment, it has trained more than 80,000 talents and is known as "the cradle of transportation construction management talents in western China". Located in the ancient capital Xi'an, the school was formerly the Cadre Training Class of the Transportation Department of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government established in 1952. It was renamed Shaanxi Transportation School in 1956, upgraded to a higher vocational college and named in 2001, and implemented the co-construction mechanism of the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Transportation in 2011.

学校现有文景、自强、通远、太白四个校区，总建筑面积47.32万平方米，开设全日制高职专业46个、成人教育专业33个，其中国家骨干专业3个、教育部示范专业1个、陕西省高水平专业群3个。拥有教授65人、副教授213人，国家级教学团队2个，国家级生产性实训基地4个，校外实训基地589个，2024年毕业生就业去向落实率达97.72%。

The school currently has four campuses: Wenjing, Ziqiang, Tongyuan and Taibai, with a total construction area of 473,200 square meters. It offers 46 full-time higher vocational majors and 33 adult education majors, including 3 national key majors, 1 Ministry of Education demonstration major, and 3 high-level professional groups in Shaanxi Province. It has 65 professors, 213 associate professors, 2 national teaching teams, 4 national productive training bases, and 589 off-campus training bases. The employment rate of graduates in 2024 reached 97.72%.

学校先后荣获国家优质高职院校、全国交通职业教育先进集体、教育部首批现代学徒制试点单位、陕西省一流学院建设单位等荣誉称号，秉承“德技并修、交融成才，知行合一、通达天下”的校训，形成了独特的“铺路石精神”校园文化。

The school has successively won honorary titles such as National High-quality Higher Vocational College, National Advanced Collective in Transportation Vocational Education, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units of the Ministry of Education, and Shaanxi Provincial First-class College Construction Unit.
