坦达大学（Tanta University）是埃及一所具有重要影响力的公立综合性高等教育机构，坐落于埃及西部省省会坦塔市，地处尼罗河三角洲腹地。学校前身为1962年成立的亚历山大大学坦塔医学院，1972年依据埃及共和国第49号文件独立建校，1973年正式定名“坦达大学”，成为继开罗大学后第五所直属于埃及教育部的正规大学。

Tanta University is a prestigious public comprehensive higher education institution in Egypt, located in Tanta, the capital of Gharbia Governorate, in the heart of the Nile Delta. Founded in 1962 as the Tanta Medical School affiliated with Alexandria University, it became an independent university in 1972 under Law No. 49 of the Arab Republic of Egypt and was officially named "Tanta University" in 1973. It is the fifth正规 university directly under Egypt's Ministry of Higher Education after Cairo University.

Its strengths lie in Medicine, Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Economics, and other fields, enjoying a strong reputation in Egypt and the Arab world. Internationally, Tanta University ranks in the 1201-1400 range in the QS World University Rankings and 835th in the USNews World University Rankings, demonstrating robust academic vitality and international development potential.
