武汉城市职业学院（WUHAN CITY POLYTECHNIC）是由湖北省人民政府举办、武汉市人民政府主管的全日制综合性高等职业院校，是教育部命名的"师范教育先进学校"、现代学徒制试点单位、1+X证书试点单位、全国百佳优秀继续教育培训院校，是湖北省"办学水平优秀学校"、湖北省优质职教师资培养培训基地、湖北省高技能人才培训和实训基地、湖北省大学生创业示范基地。

Wuhan City Polytechnic is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college sponsored by the People's Government of Hubei Province and administered by the People's Government of Wuhan City. It is named by the Ministry of Education as an "Advanced School in Normal Education", a pilot unit for modern apprenticeship, a pilot unit for the 1+X certificate system, and one of the "National Top 100 Excellent Continuing Education and Training Institutions". It is also an "Excellent School in School-running Level" in Hubei Province, a training base for high-quality vocational education teachers in Hubei, a training and practical training base for high-skilled talents in Hubei, and a demonstration base for college students' entrepreneurship in Hubei.

学校起源于1904年清末湖广总督张之洞创办的两湖总师范学堂；2002年，更名为江汉大学实验师范学院；2009年教育部备案批准，更名为武汉城市职业学院；2010年，武汉城市职业学院与武汉工业职业技术学院两校合并，成立新的武汉城市职业学院。截至2024年4月，学校有三个校区，总占地面积1850亩，建筑面积61万平方米，教学设备总值近3亿元；设有15个学院、12个专业群、66个高职招生专业；有全日制在校生近1.6万人，教职工千余人。

The school originated from the Lianghu Normal School founded by Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Huguang in the late Qing Dynasty in 1904. In 2002, it was renamed the Experimental Normal College of Jianghan University. In 2009, with the approval of the Ministry of Education for record, it was renamed Wuhan City Polytechnic. In 2010, Wuhan City Polytechnic merged with Wuhan Industrial Polytechnic to form the new Wuhan City Polytechnic. As of April 2024, the school has three campuses with a total area of 1,850 mu, a building area of 610,000 square meters, and teaching equipment worth nearly 300 million yuan. It has 15 colleges, 12 professional groups, and 66 higher vocational enrollment majors. There are nearly 16,000 full-time students and more than 1,000 faculty members.
