新疆石河子职业技术学院是2004年经新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府批准、教育部备案的一所公办普通高等职业院校，隶属于第八师石河子市，是一所集职本联办、高职、成教（含本科）、培训为一体的多层次、多形式的综合性公办职业院校。学院是国家100所示范性高等职业院校、全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校、全国首批现代学徒制试点单位、国家高技能人才培养示范基地、国家级双师型教师培训基地（兵团唯一入选）、首批国家技能根基工程培训基地（新疆唯一入选的职业院校），教育部第二批国家级职业教育教师教学创新团队立项建设单位、新疆唯一一所定向培养军士生的院校，兵团双高计划建设院校，已获教育部批复为兵团拟建的两所本科职业院校之一。

Xinjiang Shihezi Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2004. Affiliated to the Eighth Division Shihezi City, it is a comprehensive public vocational college integrating vocational-undergraduate joint education, higher vocational education, adult education (including undergraduate), and training at multiple levels and in various forms. The college is among the national 100 Demonstrative Higher Vocational Colleges, a National Excellent School for Rural Revitalization Talent Cultivation, one of the first national pilot units for modern apprenticeship, a National Demonstration Base for High-skilled Talent Cultivation, a National "Double-qualified" Teacher Training Base (the only one selected in the XPCC), one of the first National Skill Foundation Engineering Training Bases (the only vocational college selected in Xinjiang), an approved construction unit of the second batch of national vocational education teacher teaching innovation teams by the Ministry of Education, the only college in Xinjiang for定向培养军士生, a construction college of the XPCC "Double High-Level Plan", and has been approved by the Ministry of Education as one of the two proposed undergraduate vocational colleges in the XPCC.

The college covers an area of 1219.83 mu, with 10 party and government management institutions, 14 teaching institutions, 4 teaching auxiliary institutions, and 2 mass organizations. It offers 3 vocational-undergraduate joint majors and 49 higher vocational majors, including 5 national key majors and 2 provincial high-level vocational professional groups. It has taken the lead in establishing 1 municipal vocational education consortium and 4 provincial industry-education integration communities, cooperating with more than 300 enterprises. The college has 10 national-level laboratories and training rooms, with teaching and research equipment valued at 176.6004 million yuan, and a collection of 1.1264 million books. It has built 150 on-campus integrated theory-practice teaching places, 3 production (operation) training bases, and 160 off-campus internship bases.
