新疆生产建设兵团兴新职业技术学院创办于1978年，是一所以工科为主的综合性高等职业院校。2020年，为完整准确全面贯彻新时代党的治疆方略和党中央对兵团的定位要求，学院由乌鲁木齐市整建制迁建第二师铁门关市。

Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Xingxin Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1978 and is a comprehensive higher vocational college focusing on engineering. In 2020, to fully and accurately implement the Party's strategy for governing Xinjiang in the new era and the Party Central Committee's positioning requirements for the Corps, the college was relocated from Urumqi to Tiemenguan City of the Second Division as a whole.

学院占地总面积1280.98亩，建筑面积37.97万平方米。现有全日制在校生11620人，专任教师660人，其中具有高级专业技术职务的专任教师205人。累计培养各类专业技能人才17万余人。近三年，毕业生去向落实率稳定在98%以上，留疆落实率97.29%，留南疆率由8.03%逐年增至近40%。

The college covers a total area of 1280.98 mu with a building area of 379,700 square meters. It currently has 11,620 full-time students and 660 full-time teachers, including 205 with senior professional technical titles. It has cultivated more than 170,000 professional and technical talents of various types. In the past three years, the employment rate of graduates has stabilized at over 98%, with 97.29% employed in Xinjiang and the rate of staying in southern Xinjiang increasing from 8.03% to nearly 40% year by year.

学院设有机电工程学院等二级学院11个，锚定新疆五大战略定位，服务推进十大产业集群建设，围绕兵团现代农业等战略新兴产业，开设装备制造、电子与信息等17个专业大类54个专业，与塔里木大学等4所院校联合开展职本衔接应用型人才培养试点项目。

The college has 11 secondary colleges including the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Anchoring the five strategic orientations of Xinjiang and serving the promotion of ten industrial clusters, it offers 54 majors in 17 professional categories such as equipment manufacturing, electronics and information, focusing on strategic emerging industries such as modern agriculture of the Corps. It has jointly carried out pilot projects for applied talent training with 4 institutions including Tarim University.

学院是国家级高技能人才培养培训基地、兵团高水平高等职业学校和专业建设单位、世界技能大赛制冷与空调项目、移动应用开发项目国家集训基地，连续承办九届兵团职业技能竞赛，2024年成为首批挂牌兵团工匠学院的高职院校。

The college is a national high-skilled talent training base, a high-level vocational school and professional construction unit of the Corps, a national training base for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Project and Mobile Application Development Project of the World Skills Competition. It has hosted the Corps Vocational Skills Competition for nine consecutive sessions and became one of the first vocational colleges listed as the Corps Craftsman College in 2024.
