西宁城市职业技术学院创办于2014年1月，是经青海省人民政府批准、教育部备案，由西宁市政府直属的公办全日制综合性高等职业学院。学院坐落于西宁市城北区宁张路295号，占地391.8亩，建筑面积11.4万平方米，绿化面积达11.6万平方米，教学及辅助用房6.6万平方米，学生生活用房4.1万平方米，为学生提供了良好的学习与生活环境。

Xining Urban Vocational and Technical College was founded in January 2014. It is a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Qinghai Province, registered with the Ministry of Education, and directly under the Xining Municipal Government. Located at No. 295 Ningzhang Road, Chengbei District, Xining City, the college covers an area of 391.8 mu, with a building area of 114,000 square meters, a green area of 116,000 square meters, 66,000 square meters of teaching and auxiliary rooms, and 41,000 square meters of student living rooms, providing an excellent learning and living environment for students.

学院秉承“修德立身、精艺立业”的办学理念，以服务发展为宗旨，以促进就业为导向，主动适应区域经济社会发展需求。现开设教育与体育、医药卫生、资源环境与安全、装备制造、旅游等13个专业大类，涵盖学前教育、护理、环境监测技术、智能控制技术等25个专业，其中学前教育专业群为青海省“双高”建设专业群，广告艺术设计、学前教育专业为国家级骨干专业。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "Cultivating Morality to Establish Oneself, Mastering Skills to Achieve Career", the college takes serving development as its purpose and promoting employment as its orientation, actively adapting to the needs of regional economic and social development. Currently, it offers 13 major categories including Education and Sports, Medicine and Health, Resources Environment and Safety, Equipment Manufacturing, and Tourism, covering 25 majors such as Preschool Education, Nursing, Environmental Monitoring Technology, and Intelligent Control Technology. Among them, the Preschool Education major group is a "Double High-Level" construction major group in Qinghai Province, and the Advertising Art Design and Preschool Education majors are national-level key majors.

学院现有教职工316人，在校学生4163人，少数民族学生占比65%。近年来，学院深化产教融合、校企合作，共建43个校内实训基地和115个校外实习企业，与137家企业建立合作关系，形成了“产教融合、工学结合”的育人模式。学生在国家级、省级职业技能大赛中屡获佳绩，2021年斩获全国职业院校技能大赛学前教育专业一等奖，毕业生就业率和专业对口率连续多年位居青海省高职院校前列。

The college has 316 faculty members and 4,163 students, with ethnic minority students accounting for 65%. In recent years, the college has deepened industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, co-building 43 on-campus training bases and 115 off-campus internship enterprises, and establishing cooperative relations with 137 enterprises, forming an education model of "industry-education integration and work-study combination". Students have achieved excellent results in national and provincial vocational skills competitions, winning the first prize in the Preschool Education major of the National Vocational College Skills Competition in 2021. The employment rate and professional counterpart rate of graduates have ranked among the top of vocational colleges in Qinghai Province for many years.

学院先后荣获“全国优秀成人继续教育院校”“全国国防教育先进示范校”“青海省民族团结进步示范点”等称号，2021年成为青海省首个承办全国职业院校技能大赛赛项的高职院校，2023年入选教育部“职业教育数字化标杆学校”培育单位，彰显了其在职业教育领域的办学实力与社会声誉。

The college has successively won titles such as "National Excellent Adult Continuing Education Institution", "National Advanced Demonstration School for National Defense Education", and "Qinghai Provincial Model Site for National Unity and Progress". In 2021, it became the first vocational college in Qinghai Province to host the National Vocational College Skills Competition. In 2023, it was selected as a cultivation unit for the "Vocational Education Digital Benchmark School" by the Ministry of Education, demonstrating its school-running strength and social reputation in the field of vocational education.
