湘南幼儿师范高等专科学校（简称湘南幼专）是2014年3月经湖南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等学校。学校历经60余年发展，先后经历宜章师范、东江师范、郴州师范（三校合并）及升格专科四个阶段，是教育部“国培计划”实施单位、湖南省大专层次幼小教师培养基地，累计培养师资7.8万余名。

Xiangnan Preschool Education College (referred to as Xiangnan Preschool College) is a full-time public ordinary higher education institution approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in March 2014. With over 60 years of development, the college has gone through four stages: Yizhang Normal School, Dongjiang Normal School, Chenzhou Normal School (merger of three schools), and升格 to a junior college. It is an implementation unit of the "National Training Program" of the Ministry of Education and a training base for preschool and primary school teachers at the junior college level in Hunan Province, having cultivated more than 78,000 teachers.

学校占地330亩，全日制在校生6600余人，教职工336人，其中正副教授95人、研究生学历教师133人。设4个二级学院及附属幼小各1所，开设学前教育、人工智能技术应用等15个专业，构建“幼小教师教育为主体，数智技术与数字文创为两翼”的办学格局，获“湖南省文明校园”等多项荣誉。

The college covers an area of 330 mu, with over 6,600 full-time students and 336 faculty members, including 95 professors and associate professors, and 133 teachers with postgraduate degrees. It has 4 secondary colleges and 1 affiliated kindergarten and primary school each, offering 15 majors such as Preschool Education and Artificial Intelligence Technology Application. It has built a school-running pattern of "preschool and primary school teacher education as the main body, digital intelligence technology and digital cultural creativity as the two wings", and has won many honors such as "Hunan Provincial Civilized Campus".
