玉林师范学院是广西壮族自治区直属全日制普通高等本科院校，坐落在著名语言学家王力的故乡、粤港澳大湾区和北部湾经济区两湾联动发展的重要支点、西部陆海新通道重要物流节点城市玉林市。学校创办于1945年，历经多次更名与合并，2000年经教育部批准升格为本科院校，现有17个二级学院，学科涵盖10大门类，64个普通本科专业及3个硕士专业，面向全国25个省区及多个国家招生，全日制在校生23887人。

Yulin Normal University is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution directly under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in Yulin City, the hometown of the famous linguist Wang Li, a key pivot for the coordinated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, and an important logistics node city of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor. Founded in 1945, the university has undergone multiple name changes and mergers. Approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to an undergraduate institution in 2000, it now has 17 secondary colleges, covering 10 disciplines with 64 regular undergraduate programs and 3 master's programs. It enrolls students from 25 provinces and regions across China and several countries, with 23,887 full-time students.

学校占地面积1700亩，总建筑面积73.75万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值超4亿元，图书馆馆藏纸质文献221万册。现有教职工1447人，其中专任教师1090人，正高职称162人，硕士以上学位教师占比超86%。拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点3个、省级19个，11个专业通过师范类专业第二级认证，荣获广西社会科学优秀成果奖55项、广西科学技术奖11项，承担国家自然科学基金项目97项，为地方培养了20多万高素质应用型人才。

The university covers an area of 1,700 mu with a total building area of 737,500 square meters. Its teaching and research equipment is valued at over 400 million yuan, and the library houses 2.21 million paper documents. There are 1,447 faculty members, including 1,090 full-time teachers, 162 with senior professional titles, and over 86% of teachers holding master's degrees or above. It has 3 national-level and 19 provincial-level first-class undergraduate program construction sites, with 11 programs passing the second-level certification for teacher education. The university has won 55 Guangxi Social Science Outstanding Achievement Awards, 11 Guangxi Science and Technology Awards, undertaken 97 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and cultivated over 200,000 high-quality applied talents for the region.
