安徽艺术学院是教育部2019年批准设立的本科层次公办普通高校，位于安徽省合肥市新站区淮海大道1600号，占地580亩。学校前身为安徽大学艺术与传媒学院，以培养应用型艺术类人才为核心定位，学科专业聚焦艺术学主干领域，兼顾文化与传媒产业相关方向，已开设音乐表演、表演（黄梅戏方向）、播音与主持艺术、绘画等19个本科专业，其中播音与主持艺术专业获批国家级一流专业建设点，音乐与舞蹈学入选省级一流学科。

Anhui University of Arts is a public undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education in 2019, located at No. 1600 Huaihai Avenue, Xinzhan District, Hefei City, Anhui Province, covering an area of 580 mu. Formerly the School of Art and Media of Anhui University, the university focuses on cultivating applied art talents, with disciplines centered on the main field of art studies and supplemented by culture and media-related directions. It has offered 19 undergraduate programs including Music Performance, Performing Arts (Huangmei Opera Direction), Broadcasting and Hosting Arts, and Painting. Among them, the Broadcasting and Hosting Arts program has been approved as a national first-class professional construction site, and Music and Dance Studies has been selected as a provincial first-class discipline.

学校教学设施完善，拥有剧场、音乐厅、艺术馆等专业场馆，部分达到国内一流水平；馆藏纸质图书31万册，开通中国知网等多个数据库资源。注重实践育人，与安徽广播电视台、安徽演艺集团等单位共建实训基地，获国家艺术基金项目6项、省级教学成果奖12项（含特等奖1项）。创新"艺术思政"育人模式，编著《艺话皖美》校本思政读本，相关成果获新华网、人民网等权威媒体报道，入选教育部思政教育典型案例。

The university boasts advanced teaching facilities, including professional venues such as a theater, concert hall, and art gallery, some of which reach domestic first-class standards. It has a collection of 310,000 paper books and access to multiple database resources such as CNKI. Emphasizing practical education, it has established training bases with Anhui Broadcasting Station, Anhui Performing Arts Group, etc. The university has won 6 National Art Fund projects and 12 provincial teaching achievement awards (including 1 special prize). It innovatively developed the "Artistic Ideological and Political Education" model, compiled the school-based ideological and political reader "Artistic Talks on Anhui's Beauty", and related achievements have been reported by authoritative media such as Xinhuanet and People's Daily Online, and selected as a typical case of ideological and political education by the Ministry of Education.
