民办安徽旅游职业学院是国家教育部备案、安徽省人民政府批准设立的安徽省唯一一所旅游类高等院校，创建于2007年，位于八里河国家AAAAA级风景区，总占地500亩。学院秉持“学以致用、健康育人”的办学理念和“服务旅游、实践育人”的办学特色，以“规模立院、质量兴院、特色强院”为发展战略，致力于培养有用有为的准职业人。

Tourism College of Anhui is the only tourism-oriented higher education institution in Anhui Province, approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 2007, it is located in the Balihe National AAAAA Scenic Area, covering a total area of 500 mu. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "learning for application and educating healthy individuals" and the characteristic of "serving tourism and cultivating talents through practice", the college takes "establishing the college by scale, invigorating the college by quality, and strengthening the college by characteristics" as its development strategy, committed to cultivating useful and promising quasi-professionals.

学院教学设施完善，教学楼、实训楼、师生公寓等配套齐全，校园环境优雅，文体设施功能完备。开设旅游、外语、财经、艺术四个系，涵盖旅游管理、酒店管理、导游、旅游英语等14个专业，拥有一支由高校教师和行业专家组成的“双师型”教学团队，实施“学历证书+职业资格证书”双证书制度，注重学生实践能力与职业素质培养。

The college has well-equipped teaching facilities, including teaching buildings, training buildings, and student apartments, with an elegant campus environment and complete cultural and sports facilities. It has four departments: Tourism, Foreign Languages, Finance and Economics, and Art, covering 14 majors such as Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Tour Guide, and Tourism English. The college boasts a "double-qualified" teaching team composed of university teachers and industry experts, implementing the "academic certificate + vocational qualification certificate" system, and focusing on cultivating students' practical abilities and professional qualities.
