安徽林业职业技术学院是省属公办全日制普通高等院校，隶属于安徽省林业局，是安徽省唯一一所以培养生态环境工程为主体、多学科协调发展的高等职业技术学院。学院创办于1952年，前身为安徽省合肥林业学校，2004年6月经安徽省人民政府批准独立升格为高等职业技术学院。学院位于合肥市大蜀山风景区，依山面湖，环境优美，为省级花园式单位和省直文明单位，是理想的学习场所。

Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Forestry is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution affiliated to the Anhui Provincial Forestry Bureau. It is the only higher vocational college in Anhui Province focusing on cultivating ecological environment engineering with multi-disciplinary coordinated development. Founded in 1952, formerly known as Anhui Hefei Forestry School, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's Government in June 2004. Located in the Dashu Mountain Scenic Area of Hefei City, the college is surrounded by mountains and lakes, with beautiful environment. It is a provincial garden-style unit and a civilized unit directly under the province, making it an ideal place for study.

学院坚持“立德为本、特色发展、学有所专、知行合一”的办学理念，设有资源与环境系、信息与艺术系、经济与管理系、继续教育学院和思政教学部，涵盖林业、电子信息、经济、管理、艺术等10个学科门类37个专业。其中，中央财政支持建设专业2个（林业技术、园林技术），省级特色专业3个（林业技术、园林技术、园艺技术）。学院拥有校内实训基地50个、校外实训基地34个，其中国家级职业教育实训基地2个、省级实验实训示范中心2个，为学生实践能力培养提供坚实保障。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "Morality-First, Characteristic Development, Professional Mastery, Unity of Knowledge and Practice", the college has set up five teaching departments including Department of Resources and Environment, Department of Information and Art, Department of Economics and Management, Continuing Education College and Ideological and Political Teaching Department, covering 37 majors in 10 disciplines such as forestry, electronic information, economics, management and art. Among them, there are 2 majors supported by the central finance (Forestry Technology, Garden Technology) and 3 provincial characteristic majors (Forestry Technology, Garden Technology, Horticultural Technology). The college has 50 on-campus training bases and 34 off-campus training bases, including 2 national vocational education training bases and 2 provincial experimental training demonstration centers, providing solid guarantee for students' practical ability training.

学院现有教职工133人，其中专任教师100人，博士4人，硕士53人，教授4人，副教授28人，“双师型”教师35人，并从高校、科研院所及企业聘请行业专家30余人组建兼职教师队伍。学院注重学生综合素质培养，通过专接本、继续教育等多种渠道帮助学生提升学历，并设有国家英语四六级、计算机等级等考点及林业行业特有工种技能鉴定站，为学生职业发展搭建多元化平台。

The college has 133 faculty members, including 100 full-time teachers, 4 doctors, 53 masters, 4 professors, 28 associate professors and 35 "double-qualified" teachers. More than 30 industry experts from universities, research institutes and enterprises are employed as part-time teachers. Focusing on the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality, the college helps students improve their academic qualifications through multiple channels such as undergraduate program articulation and continuing education. It also has test centers for CET-4/6, Computer Rank Examination and skill appraisal stations for forestry-specific types of work, building a diversified platform for students' career development.
