安徽科技学院是一所办学历史悠久、文化底蕴深厚、多学科协调发展的省属本科院校。学校起始于1950年的皖北高级农林学校，1965年开始举办本科教育。历经安徽凤阳农业专科学校、安徽农学院凤阳分院、皖北农学院、安徽农业技术师范学院、安徽技术师范学院等变迁，2005年更名为安徽科技学院，2012年开始独立培养研究生，2021年成为硕士学位授予单位。

Anhui Science and Technology University is a provincial undergraduate university with a long history, profound cultural heritage, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. The university originated from Northern Anhui Advanced Agricultural and Forestry School in 1950 and began offering undergraduate education in 1965. It has undergone transformations such as Fengyang Branch of Anhui Agricultural College, Northern Anhui Agricultural College, Anhui Agricultural Technical Normal College, and Anhui Technical Normal College. In 2005, it was renamed Anhui Science and Technology University. In 2012, it started independently cultivating postgraduates, and in 2021, it became a master's degree-granting unit.

学校秉承“明德、致知、笃行、创新”的校训，弘扬“艰苦奋斗、开拓创新、求真务实、无私奉献”的安科精神，实施特色发展、团队发展、服务发展、绿色发展、安全发展五大战略，成为以农科为特色、农工管为主体，多学科相互支撑、协调发展的应用型高水平大学。现有凤阳校区、龙湖校区和滁州校区，占地面积2600余亩，在校全日制本科生、硕士研究生2.2万人，累计为国家和地方经济社会发展输送了13万余名优秀毕业生。

Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Knowledge, Practice, Innovation" and promoting the Anke spirit of "hard work, pioneering and innovation, seeking truth and being pragmatic, and selfless dedication", the university implements five strategies: characteristic development, team development, service development, green development, and safe development. It has become an application-oriented high-level university with agriculture as its特色, agriculture, engineering, and management as the main body, and multi-disciplinary mutual support and coordinated development. It has three campuses: Fengyang, Longhu, and Chuzhou, covering an area of more than 2,600 mu. There are 22,000 full-time undergraduates and master's students, and more than 130,000 outstanding graduates have been cultivated for national and local economic and social development.
