安徽外国语学院是一所以外国语言文学教育为特色的省属民办全日制普通本科高校，是中部地区唯一一所本科外国语学院。学校成立于2002年，前身为安徽外国语职业技术学院，2011年4月经教育部批准升格为普通本科高校，2021年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估。

Anhui International Studies University is a provincial private full-time ordinary undergraduate university featuring foreign language and literature education, and the only undergraduate foreign language university in central China. Founded in 2002 as Anhui Foreign Language Vocational and Technical College, it was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of Education in April 2011 and passed the Undergraduate Teaching Qualification Assessment of the Ministry of Education in 2021.

学校坐落于国家4A级旅游景区紫蓬山风景区，校园内依山临水的自然气息与欧式风情的建筑风格相融合，凸显环境与人文的统一。学校设有11个学院（部），开设43个本科专业，涵盖文学、经济学、管理学、艺术学、工学、理学6个学科门类，其中外国语言文学类专业12个，涉及10个外语语种，是安徽省开设外语语种最多的高校。

The university is located in the Zongpeng Mountain Scenic Area, a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The natural atmosphere of being surrounded by mountains and water on campus integrates with the European-style architectural style, highlighting the unity of environment and humanity. The university has 11 schools (departments) and offers 43 undergraduate majors, covering 6 disciplines including literature, economics, management, art, engineering, and science. Among them, there are 12 foreign language and literature majors involving 10 foreign languages, making it the university with the most foreign languages offered in Anhui Province.
