蚌埠医科大学是安徽省省属重点大学，1958年7月创建于安徽蚌埠，初名蚌埠医学院，2023年6月更名为蚌埠医科大学。学校是国家首批具有学士和硕士学位授予权的单位、国家首批卓越医生教育培养计划项目试点高校、国家临床医学硕士专业学位研究生培养模式改革试点高校、教育部临床医学“5+3”一体化招生单位。

Bengbu Medical University is a key provincial university in Anhui Province. Founded in Bengbu, Anhui in July 1958, it was initially named Bengbu Medical College and renamed Bengbu Medical University in June 2023. The university is one of the first national institutions authorized to grant bachelor's and master's degrees, a pilot university of the national first-class excellent doctor education and training program, a pilot university for the reform of the training mode of postgraduates with professional degrees in clinical medicine, and an enrollment unit for the "5+3" integrated clinical medicine program of the Ministry of Education.

学校坚持以立德树人为根本，秉持“笃学、精业、修德、厚生”的校训，形成了“严谨治学、敬业奉献”的教风和“勤学善思、知行合一”的学风。现有龙子湖、治淮两个校区，占地面积约1580亩，校舍建筑面积52万平方米。设有18个教学单位，31个本科专业，涵盖医学、理学、工学、管理学、教育学等学科门类。

Adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and the school motto of "Diligent in Learning, Skilled in Profession, Cultivating Morality, and Caring for Life", the university has formed a teaching style of "rigorous scholarship and dedicated dedication" and a learning style of "diligent in learning and good at thinking, integrating knowledge and practice". Currently, it has two campuses, Longzihu and ZhiHuai, covering an area of about 1,580 mu with a school building area of 520,000 square meters. It has 18 teaching units and 31 undergraduate majors, covering disciplines such as medicine, science, engineering, management, and education.

学校拥有一支结构合理、素质优良的师资队伍，现有教职工4600余人，其中专任教师1200余人，具有高级职称者600余人，博导、硕导1100余人。拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点12个，国家级特色专业4个，国家级综合改革试点专业1个，省级一流本科专业建设点20个。临床医学学科进入ESI全球前1%，拥有1个省部共建国家重点实验室培育基地，3个省部级重点实验室，1个国家临床教学培训示范中心。

The university has a well-structured and high-quality faculty, with more than 4,600 faculty members, including over 1,200 full-time teachers, more than 600 with senior professional titles, and more than 1,100 doctoral and master supervisors. It has 12 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 4 national characteristic majors, 1 national comprehensive reform pilot major, and 20 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites. The clinical medicine discipline has entered the top 1% of ESI globally. It has 1 national key laboratory cultivation base co-constructed by the province and the ministry, 3 provincial and ministerial key laboratories, and 1 national clinical teaching and training demonstration center.
