保定电力职业技术学院始建于1957年，隶属于国网冀北电力有限公司，是河北省唯一的公办全日制电力类高职院校。学院位于保定市竞秀区乐凯南大街1278号，现有北院和南院两个校区，占地面积270亩，面向行业及社会设置招生专业10个。

Baoding Electric Power Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1957 and is affiliated to State Grid Jibei Electric Power Co., Ltd. It is the only public full-time higher vocational college specializing in electric power in Hebei Province. The college is located at No. 1278, Lekai South Street, Jingxiu District, Baoding City, with two campuses (North Campus and South Campus), covering an area of 270 mu, and offers 10 enrollment majors for the industry and society.

学院拥有反窃电实训室、10kV配电站室运维实训室、继电保护实训基地等111个实训室（场），其中反窃电实训室、信息通信实训基地等达到国内领先水平。近三年毕业生平均就业率保持在97%以上，主要就业于国有及民营电力类企业，为电力行业发展提供了有力的人才支撑。

The college has 111 training rooms (fields) including anti-stealing electricity training room, 10kV distribution station operation and maintenance training room, relay protection training base, etc., among which the anti-stealing electricity training room and information and communication training base have reached the domestic leading level. In the past three years, the average employment rate of graduates has remained above 97%, and they are mainly employed in state-owned and private electric power enterprises, providing strong talent support for the development of the electric power industry.
