保定职业技术学院是一所国办综合类全日制普通高等职业院校，坐落在历史文化名城河北省保定市，毗邻雄安新区。学院前身始建于1935年，现有全日制在校生15000余人，教职工697人，其中专任教师459人，双师型教师占55%以上。学院设有10个系和3个公共教学部，开设农林牧医、装备制造、电子信息、建筑施工、财经商贸、广播影视、文化旅游等7大专业群53个专业，拥有国家骨干专业2个、省教改示范专业3个、国家精品资源共享课程2门、省精品课程10门。

Baoding Vocational and Technical College is a state-run comprehensive full-time ordinary higher vocational college located in Baoding City, Hebei Province, a famous historical and cultural city, adjacent to Xiong'an New Area. The predecessor of the college was founded in 1935. Currently, it has more than 15,000 full-time students and 697 faculty members, including 459 full-time teachers, with "double-qualified" teachers accounting for more than 55%. The college has 10 departments and 3 public teaching departments, offering 53 majors in 7 major groups such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and medicine, equipment manufacturing, electronic information, construction, finance and trade, radio, film and television, and cultural tourism. It has 2 national key majors, 3 provincial reform demonstration majors, 2 national excellent resource sharing courses, and 10 provincial excellent courses.

学院建有12个校内实训中心130余个实训室，与长城汽车、保定-中关村创新中心等多家知名企事业单位合作建设校外实训基地百余处。学院以立德树人为根本，以服务发展为宗旨，以促进就业为导向，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在90%以上，先后荣获河北省示范性高职院校、全国职业教育先进单位、国家乡村振兴人才培养优质校等荣誉称号。

The college has built more than 130 training rooms in 12 on-campus training centers, and cooperated with many well-known enterprises and institutions such as Great Wall Motors and Baoding-Zhongguancun Innovation Center to build more than 100 off-campus training bases. The college takes moral education as the foundation, serves development as the purpose, and promotes employment as the orientation. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 90% for many years. It has successively won the honorary titles of Hebei Provincial Model Higher Vocational College, National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education, and National Excellent School for Talents Cultivation in Rural Revitalization.
