北海艺术设计学院坐落在美丽的滨海城市广西北海市市中心。北海市南临南中国海，是一座具有典型亚热带风情的半岛城市，1984年被国家列为沿海开放城市，拥有“天下第一滩”美誉的银滩和中国最美的海岛涠洲岛。学校办学至今有24年历史，2014年被教育部批准为本科院校，2023年通过了教育部本科教学工作合格评估。现有在校生14,000多人，教职工1000多人，是一所以艺术设计为主的全日制普通本科高校。

Beihai College of Art and Design is located in the city center of Beihai, a beautiful coastal city in Guangxi. Beihai, bordering the South China Sea to the south, is a peninsula city with typical subtropical charm. It was listed as a coastal open city by the state in 1984 and is home to the Silver Beach, known as "the best beach in the world", and Weizhou Island, the most beautiful island in China. The school has a 24-year history of running schools. It was approved as an undergraduate college by the Ministry of Education in 2014 and passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education in 2023. Currently, it has more than 14,000 students and over 1,000 faculty members, and is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university focusing on art and design.

学校始终坚持社会主义办学方向，坚持应用型办学定位，特色鲜明，以“道德”为校训，以先进的教育理念引领发展。实施“3+1（北海+北京）”培养模式，学生前三年在北海接受地域文化和海洋文化熏陶，完成通识教育及专业课程学习，大四进入北京实践基地开拓视野。总占地面积1800多亩，分三个校区，总建筑面积约46万平米，教学设施设备国内一流，下设14个学院，开设有五个学科门类共计21个专业，师资力量雄厚，开设有名师大讲堂，并与英国、匈牙利等国外高校开展合作交流。

It takes "morality" as its school motto and is guided by advanced educational concepts for development. It implements the "3+1 (Beihai + Beijing)" training model, where students spend the first three years in Beihai receiving edification from regional culture and marine culture, completing general education and professional courses, and enter the Beijing practice base in the senior year to broaden their horizons. With a total area of more than 1,800 mu, divided into three campuses, with a total construction area of about 460,000 square meters, and first-class teaching facilities and equipment in China, the school has 14 colleges, offering 21 majors in five disciplines. It has a strong faculty, offers a famous teacher lecture hall, and carries out cooperation and exchanges with foreign universities in the United Kingdom, Hungary, etc.
