北京交通运输职业学院是北京市交通委员会直属的唯一公办全日制普通高等职业院校,创办于1960年,前身为北京市首个交通运输干部培训学校。学院是北京交通职业教育集团核心学校、全国城市轨道交通职业教育集团理事长单位,也是全国交通运输职业教育教学指导委员会副主任单位及城市轨道交通专业教学指导委员会主任单位,同时还是北京市创新创业教育改革示范高校、全国督学单位和北京市督学单位。
Beijing Vocational Transportation College is the only public full-time ordinary higher vocational college directly under the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport. Founded in 1960, its predecessor was the first transportation cadre training school in Beijing. The college is the core school of the Beijing Transportation Vocational Education Group, the chairman unit of the National Urban Rail Transit Vocational Education Group, the deputy director unit of the National Transportation Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee, and the director unit of the Urban Rail Transit Professional Teaching Steering Committee. It is also a model university for innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in Beijing, and a national and Beijing municipal inspector unit.
学院现有海淀、大兴、通州等六个校区,总占地面积330余亩,建筑面积15万平方米,全日制在校生6000余人。围绕首都经济及交通行业发展需求,学院形成了城市轨道交通、公共交通客运、城市物流、道路建设与养护管理、汽车维修与服务等七大专业群,拥有汽车运用工程、城市轨道交通等多个国家级、市级重点实训基地,其中城市轨道交通实训基地是目前国内规模最大、设备最先进的专业实训基地之一。
The college has six campuses including Haidian, Daxing, and Tongzhou, covering a total area of more than 330 mu and a building area of 150,000 square meters, with over 6,000 full-time students. Focusing on the development needs of the capital's economy and transportation industry, the college has formed seven major professional groups such as urban rail transit, public transport passenger transport, urban logistics, road construction and maintenance management, and automobile maintenance and service. It has multiple national and municipal key training bases such as automotive application engineering and urban rail transit, among which the urban rail transit training base is one of the largest and most advanced professional training bases in China.
作为北京交通职教集团核心单位,学院与北京市交通行业八大国有企业集团签订合作办学协议,开展订单式人才培养,并积极推进京津冀交通职业教育协同发展,构建了“互联网+职业教育”集团化办学模式下的现代交通运输职业教育体系,为首都交通事业发展培养了大批高素质应用型技术和管理人才。
