北京工业大学耿丹学院创建于2005年，是经国家教育部批准成立的一所全日制民办普通本科院校。学校以中国早期教育家、革命家、留英博士——耿丹烈士的名字命名，秉承不以营利为目的的公益性办学理念，传承其伟大的爱国主义精神，铸造“耿耿丹心，为国为民”的校魂，践行“学会学习，决心奋斗，追求先进，争取全面”的校训。

Beijing University of Technology Gengdan College was founded in 2005 and is a full-time private ordinary undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education of China. Named after the early Chinese educator, revolutionary, and British-educated doctor Martyr Geng Dan, the college adheres to the non-profit public welfare school-running philosophy, inherits his great patriotic spirit, forges the school spirit of "Loyalty to the Country and the People", and practices the school motto of "Learn to Study, Resolve to Strive, Pursue Progress, and Strive for Comprehensiveness".

学校坐落于北京市顺义区，校区占地面积32.73万平方米，绿地面积10.26万平方米，绿化率达31.3%，是首都绿化美化花园式单位。现设有空天信息学院、数字技术学院、信息工程学院、机电工程学院、国际商学院、人文学院、国际设计学院七个二级学院，开设26个本科专业，涵盖工学、经济学、管理学、艺术学、文学、教育学、法学等7个学科门类，拥有5个北京市一流本科专业建设点。

Located in Shunyi District, Beijing, the campus covers an area of 327,300 square meters with a green area of 102,600 square meters and a greening rate of 31.3%, making it a garden-style unit for greening and beautification in the capital. Currently, it has seven secondary colleges: School of Aerospace Information, School of Digital Technology, School of Information Engineering, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, International Business School, School of Humanities, and International Design College. It offers 26 undergraduate majors covering 7 disciplines including engineering, economics, management, art, literature, education, and law, with 5 Beijing first-class undergraduate major construction sites.

学校实施以学生为中心的教育理念，注重开放式、国际化、应用型办学定位，形成了以提升学生综合能力为导向的人才培养模式。不仅学费收入全部用于办学，还积极承担政府和社会公益项目，为地方经济社会发展提供创新支撑，致力于打造一所担负社会使命的百年大学。

The college implements a student-centered educational philosophy, focusing on an open, international, and application-oriented school-running orientation, and has formed a talent training model oriented to enhancing students' comprehensive abilities. All tuition income is used for school operation, and it also actively undertakes government and social public welfare projects to provide innovative support for local economic and social development, striving to build a century-old university with social missions.
