北京科技职业学院是经北京市人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，具有独立颁发国家承认学历文凭资格的全日制综合性民办普通高等职业院校。学校创建于1997年，拥有沙河和八达岭两大校区，沙河校区占地650亩，位于北京昌平；八达岭校区占地2425亩，紧邻八达岭长城、妫水河畔。学校林木叠翠、鸟语花香、依山傍水、亭塔相间，2020年入选教育部第三批国防教育特色学校。

Beijing University of Science and Technology is a full-time comprehensive private higher vocational college approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, with the qualification to independently issue nationally recognized academic diplomas. Founded in 1997, the university has two campuses: Shahe and Badaling. The Shahe Campus covers an area of 650 mu and is located in Changping, Beijing; the Badaling Campus covers an area of 2425 mu, adjacent to the Badaling Great Wall and the Guishui River. The campus is surrounded by lush forests, fragrant flowers, mountains and rivers, with pavilions and towers interspersed, and was selected as the third batch of national defense education characteristic schools by the Ministry of Education in 2020.

办学二十余载，学校秉承立德树人的办学理念，累计为国家和社会培养学生12余万人，各类职业技能型人才30余万人，深度参与两届北京奥运会，成为“双奥之校”。学校总建筑面积73.70余万平方米，各类专业教学实训（验）室48个，校外实习（训）基地38个，教学仪器设备总值8839.23万元，图书馆纸质图书116万册，电子图书40万册，为学生提供了良好的学习和实践环境。

Over more than 20 years of running the school, adhering to the educational philosophy of cultivating people with morality, the university has trained more than 120,000 students and over 300,000 various vocational and technical talents for the country and society. It has deeply participated in two Beijing Olympic Games and has become a "Double Olympic School". The total construction area of the university is more than 737,000 square meters, with 48 professional teaching and training (experiment) rooms, 38 off-campus实习 (training) bases, the total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 88.3923 million yuan, the library has 1.16 million paper books and 400,000 e-books, providing students with a good learning and practice environment.
