北京戏曲艺术职业学院（简称“北戏”）是经北京市人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通高等学校，是北京市唯一一所公办艺术类高等职业学院。其前身是由梅兰芳先生等京剧前辈创建于1952年的北京艺培戏曲学校，2002年正式更名为北京戏曲艺术职业学院，开启全日制高等艺术职业教育。学院历经多年发展，已从单一戏曲学校成长为涵盖戏曲表演、戏曲音乐、舞蹈表演、音乐表演、曲艺表演、戏剧影视表演、舞台艺术设计与制作等多专业方向的综合艺术院校，培养了孙毓敏、张学津、赵葆秀、谷文月等万余名艺术人才，其中23人获中国戏剧“梅花奖”。

Beijing Opera Art Vocational College (BOAVC) is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education, being the only public art vocational college in Beijing. Its predecessor was Beijing Art Training Opera School founded in 1952 by Peking Opera predecessors such as Mei Lanfang. In 2002, it was officially renamed Beijing Opera Art Vocational College, launching full-time higher art vocational education. After years of development, the college has grown from a single opera school into a comprehensive art institution covering multiple professional directions including opera performance, opera music, dance performance, music performance, folk art performance, drama and film performance, stage art design and production, etc. It has cultivated over 10,000 art talents such as Sun Yumin, Zhang Xuejin, Zhao Baoxiu, Gu Wenyue, among whom 23 have won the "Plum Blossom Award", the highest award in Chinese theater.

学院始终坚持立德树人根本任务，构建“教学、演出、创研、服务、实践”五位一体人才培养模式，2011年被评为“北京市示范性高等职业院校”，2019年成为北京市特色高水平职业院校建设单位，2022年戏曲表演专业群入选北京市职业院校特色高水平骨干专业（群）建设名单。学院现有教职工360余人，高级职称教师100余人，师生在国家级各类艺术赛事中累计获400余项奖项，为中华优秀传统文化传承与发展作出重要贡献。

Adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the college has constructed a "five-in-one" talent training model integrating teaching, performance, research, service, and practice. In 2011, it was rated as a "Beijing Model Higher Vocational College", and in 2019, it became a construction unit of Beijing characteristic high-level vocational colleges. In 2022, its Opera Performance major group was selected into the list of Beijing vocational college characteristic high-level backbone majors (groups). The college currently has over 360 faculty members, including more than 100 with senior professional titles. Teachers and students have won more than 400 awards in various national art competitions, making important contributions to the inheritance and development of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
