北京体育职业学院是经北京市人民政府批准、教育部备案，由北京市体育局于2008年6月创建的高等体育职业院校，属于全额拨款事业单位。学院前身为北京市职工体育运动技术学院及北京市第二、第五体育运动学校，校本部位于丰台区光彩北路4号，分校区地处大兴区芦城训练基地，校园环境优美，运动场馆与训练设施一流。

Beijing Sports Vocational College is a public higher vocational college approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and founded in June 2008 by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports. As a fully-funded public institution, it was established through the integration of the former Beijing Workers' Sports Technical College and Beijing No.2 and No.5 Sports Schools. The main campus is located at No.4 Guangcai North Road, Fengtai District, with a branch campus at Lucheng Training Base in Daxing District, featuring an elegant environment and first-class sports venues and training facilities.

学院以“崇德尚体，授技育人”为校训，专注培养体育职业技能人才，开设社会体育、体育运营与管理、体育保健与康复、运动训练等专业，同时设有冰雪运动服务与推广、儿童体智能训练等特色方向。在校生近千人，毕业生就业率连续多年保持100%，为首都体育产业发展及运动员退役转型提供坚实支撑。学院积极开展校企合作，与万龙度假天堂、北京世纪星滑冰俱乐部等企业共建实训基地，并与芬兰凯撒卡里奥体育学院开展国际交流，彰显“行业特色鲜明、办学优势突出”的办学定位。

Adhering to the motto "Upholding Virtue and Sports, Imparting Skills and Educating People", the college focuses on cultivating sports vocational talents. It offers majors such as Social Sports, Sports Operation and Management, Sports Health Care and Rehabilitation, and Sports Training, with特色方向 including Ice and Snow Sports Service and Promotion, and Children's Physical Intelligence Training. With nearly 1,000 students, the college has maintained a 100% employment rate for graduates for many years, providing strong support for the development of Beijing's sports industry and athletes' post-retirement transition. It actively promotes school-enterprise cooperation, establishing training bases with enterprises like Wanlong Ski Resort and Beijing Century Star Skating Club, and conducts international exchanges with Finland's Kajaani University of Applied Sciences, demonstrating its positioning as "distinctive industry characteristics and outstanding educational advantages".
