滨州医学院是山东省属普通高等医学院校，前身是始建于1946年的原国立山东大学医学院。学校历经沿革，1983年更名为滨州医学院，2002年开始在烟台建设新校区，形成了“一校两区”（滨州、烟台）的办学格局。学校始终坚持“育人为本、德育为先”的办学理念，以医学教育为特色，涵盖医学、工学、理学、管理学、法学等多个学科门类，为国家和社会培养了大批高素质医药卫生人才。

Binzhou Medical University is a public higher medical institution affiliated to Shandong Province. Its predecessor was the former National Shandong University School of Medicine founded in 1946. After several evolutions, the university was renamed Binzhou Medical University in 1983 and started constructing a new campus in Yantai in 2002, forming a school-running pattern of "one university with two campuses" (Binzhou and Yantai). Adhering to the educational philosophy of "student-oriented and moral education first", the university features medical education and covers multiple disciplines such as medicine, engineering, science, management, and law, cultivating a large number of high-quality medical and health talents for the country and society.

学校现有全日制在校生17000余人，教职工1200余人，其中高级职称人员500余人，博士、硕士学位人员占比超过80%。设有19个院（系），34个本科专业，拥有临床医学、基础医学、药学等一级学科硕士学位授权点，以及临床医学、口腔医学、护理等专业学位硕士授权点。学校注重教学质量与科研创新，拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点、国家级特色专业、省级重点学科和重点实验室等多个教学科研平台。

The university currently has over 17,000 full-time students and more than 1,200 faculty members, including over 500 with senior professional titles and over 80% with doctoral or master's degrees. It has 19 colleges (departments) and 34 undergraduate majors, with first-level discipline master's degree authorization points in clinical medicine, basic medicine, pharmacy, etc., as well as professional master's degree authorization points in clinical medicine, stomatology, nursing, etc. Focusing on teaching quality and scientific research innovation, the university has multiple teaching and research platforms such as national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, national characteristic majors, provincial key disciplines and key laboratories.
