长春建筑学院始建于2000年，原名吉林建筑工程学院建筑装饰学院；2004年经教育部确认为独立学院；2011年经教育部批准转设为民办普通本科高等学校，并更名为长春建筑学院；2015年获批吉林省首批整体转型发展试点校；2017年被吉林省确定为硕士学位授予权立项建设单位；2019年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估。学校是吉林省首批三全育人综合改革试点高校，2025年荣居校友会中国民办大学排名(Ⅰ类)第12位，跻身全国12强。

Changchun University of Architecture was founded in 2000, originally named the School of Architectural Decoration of Jilin Institute of Architectural Engineering. In 2004, it was recognized as an independent college by the Ministry of Education. In 2011, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be transformed into a private ordinary undergraduate higher education institution and renamed Changchun University of Architecture. In 2015, it was approved as one of the first batch of pilot schools for overall transformation and development in Jilin Province. In 2017, it was designated as a project construction unit for master's degree authorization by Jilin Province. In 2019, it passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work by the Ministry of Education. The university is one of the first batch of comprehensive reform pilot universities for three-full education in Jilin Province, and ranked 12th in the Alumni Association's ranking of Chinese private universities (Category I) in 2025, entering the national top 12.

学校现有奢岭、高新两个校区，奢岭校区坐落在5A级风景区——净月潭国家森林公园南端，风景秀美幽静，生态环境宜人；高新校区坐落在高新技术产业开发区，廊桥台榭，错落有致。校园总占地面积700686平方米，总建筑面积396107.53平方米，其中教学行政用房257228.98平方米；教学科研仪器设备值13317万元，馆藏图书146.8万册；教学单位14个，全日制在校本科生16001人。

The university currently has two campuses: Sheling and Gaoxin. The Sheling Campus is located at the southern end of the 5A-level scenic spot - Jingyuetan National Forest Park, with beautiful and quiet scenery and a pleasant ecological environment. The Gaoxin Campus is located in the High-tech Industrial Development Zone, with corridors, platforms and pavilions arranged in a well-proportioned manner. The total campus area is 700,686 square meters, with a total construction area of 396,107.53 square meters, including 257,228.98 square meters of teaching and administrative rooms. The value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 133.17 million yuan, and the library has 1.468 million books. There are 14 teaching units and 16,001 full-time undergraduate students.

学校现有本科专业45个，形成了以工为主，工、管、文、农、艺、医多学科协调发展的学科专业建设格局。紧密对接区域产业链、创新链发展，构建了土木建筑、人工智能、艺术设计、工程管理、电气信息和健康福祉类6大对口服务专业集群，形成了数字文创设计智慧康养与智能建筑优势学科(群)，推动了学科专业一体化发展。现有省级优势特色学科1个、省级特色高水平学科(群)2个、首批省级一流学科联合创新平台4个；省级专业特色学院1个、省级特色高水平专业(群)2个、省级A类特色高水平专业2个、省级一流专业7个、省级特色专业3个、省级品牌专业1个、省级卓越工程师教育培育计划试点专业5个、省级人才培养模式创新实验区2个。环境设计、工程造价专业双双雄踞校友会2025中国大学专业排名(应用型)第一(6★,A++)。

The university currently has 45 undergraduate majors, forming a discipline and professional construction pattern with engineering as the main focus, and coordinated development of engineering, management, liberal arts, agriculture, art, and medicine. Closely docking with the development of regional industrial chains and innovation chains, it has built 6 major counterpart service professional clusters in civil engineering and architecture, artificial intelligence, art design, engineering management, electrical information, and health and well-being, forming advantageous disciplines (groups) of digital cultural and creative design, intelligent health care and intelligent architecture, and promoting the integrated development of disciplines and majors. There is 1 provincial-level advantageous and characteristic discipline, 2 provincial-level characteristic high-level disciplines (groups), and 4 first-batch provincial-level first-class discipline joint innovation platforms; 1 provincial-level professional characteristic college, 2 provincial-level characteristic high-level majors (groups), 2 provincial-level A-type characteristic high-level majors, 7 provincial-level first-class majors, 3 provincial-level characteristic majors, 1 provincial-level brand major, 5 provincial-level pilot majors of the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program, and 2 provincial-level innovative experimental zones for talent training models. Both Environmental Design and Engineering Cost majors ranked first (6★, A++) in the Alumni Association's 2025 China University Professional Ranking (Application-oriented).
