长春师范大学是吉林省重要的基础教育师资及应用型高级专门人才培养基地，坐落在美丽的北国春城长春市。学校始建于1958年，前身为长春师范专科学校，1981年更名为长春师范学院，2013年更名为长春师范大学。经过六十余年的建设与发展，学校已成为一所拥有文、理、史、教育、管、法、工、艺等多学科协调发展的省属师范大学。

Changchun Normal University is an important base for cultivating basic education teachers and applied senior professionals in Jilin Province, located in the beautiful northern spring city of Changchun. Founded in 1958, the university was formerly known as Changchun Teachers' College, renamed Changchun Normal University in 1981, and further renamed Changchun Normal University in 2013. After more than 60 years of construction and development, it has become a provincial normal university with coordinated development of multiple disciplines including liberal arts, science, history, education, management, law, engineering, and art.

学校现有67个本科专业，覆盖10个学科门类，拥有1个国家一流专业建设点，15个省级一流专业建设点，形成了师范教育与非师范教育并举、特色鲜明的学科专业体系。学校师资力量雄厚，现有教职工1500余人，其中高级职称人员600余人，具有博士学位教师400余人，拥有一批国家级、省级优秀教师和学科带头人。

The university currently offers 67 undergraduate majors covering 10 disciplines, with 1 national first-class professional construction site and 15 provincial first-class professional construction sites, forming a distinctive disciplinary and professional system featuring both normal education and non-normal education. It boasts a strong faculty of over 1,500 staff, including more than 600 with senior professional titles and over 400 with doctoral degrees, as well as a number of national and provincial outstanding teachers and academic leaders.
