长春汽车职业技术大学坐落于吉林省长春市，是一所公办理工类普通本科院校，由长春市政府与中国第一汽车集团有限公司共建共管共享。学校始建于1952年，前身为中国一汽创办的长春汽车技术学校，历经长春汽车工业高等专科学校等发展阶段，2024年1月经教育部批复升格为职业本科大学，是新中国第一所专门为汽车工业培养人才的学校，被誉为“中国汽车人才摇篮”。

Changchun Automobile Vocational and Technical University is a public undergraduate institution of science and engineering located in Changchun, Jilin Province. It is co-built, managed, and shared by the Changchun Municipal Government and China FAW Group Corporation. Founded in 1952, the university originated as Changchun Automobile Technical School established by China FAW. It evolved through stages such as Changchun Automobile Industry College and was upgraded to a vocational undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of Education in January 2024. It is the first school in New China dedicated to cultivating talents for the automotive industry, known as the "Cradle of Chinese Automotive Talents."

学校位于长春汽车经济技术开发区，与中国一汽总部毗邻，占地面积71万平方米，全日制在校生万余人。现有6个本科专业、33个专科专业，其中国家级示范（骨干）专业9个，新能源智能网联汽车技术、汽车先进制造技术专业群入选国家“双高计划”高水平专业群。师资力量雄厚，拥有专任教师582人、企业兼职教师245人，其中国家万人计划教学名师1人、享受国务院政府津贴专家6人、全国技术能手6人，双师型教师占比达70%以上。

The university is located in Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to China FAW's headquarters, covering an area of 710,000 square meters with over 10,000 full-time students. It currently offers 6 undergraduate programs and 33 specialized programs, including 9 national demonstration (backbone) programs. The professional clusters of New Energy Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology and Advanced Automotive Manufacturing Technology have been selected into the national "Double High-Level Plan" high-level professional clusters. The university boasts a strong faculty, with 582 full-time teachers and 245 part-time enterprise teachers, including 1 national-level teaching master from the "Ten Thousand Talents Plan," 6 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 6 national technical experts, and over 70% of "dual-qualification" teachers.
