常州大学怀德学院是经教育部批准，依托常州大学优质办学资源，由常州大学和靖江市合作举办的独立学院。学院创建于2002年3月，前身为公有民办二级学院，2005年5月转设为独立学院，2014年正式迁址靖江市办学，校园占地748亩，校舍建筑面积27万平方米，教学与生活设施齐备。

Huai De College of Changzhou University is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education, co-founded by Changzhou University and Jingjiang City, relying on the high-quality educational resources of Changzhou University. Founded in March 2002 as a public-private secondary college, it was transformed into an independent college in May 2005 and officially relocated to Jingjiang City in 2014. The campus covers an area of 748 mu with a building area of 270,000 square meters, equipped with complete teaching and living facilities.

学院现有教职工550余人，副高级及以上职称比例达44%，在校生超1万人，来自全国23个省（市、自治区）。开设24个本科专业，涵盖工、文、经、管、艺五大学科门类，其中电子信息工程、国际经济与贸易等5个专业为江苏高校一流本科专业建设点，环境工程专业为江苏高校产教融合型品牌专业建设点。

The college has over 550 faculty members, with 44% holding associate senior titles or above, and more than 10,000 students from 23 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across China. It offers 24 undergraduate programs covering five disciplines: engineering, liberal arts, economics, management, and art. Among them, 5 programs including Electronic Information Engineering and International Economics and Trade are listed as Jiangsu Provincial First-class Undergraduate Program Construction Sites, and Environmental Engineering is designated as a Jiangsu Provincial Industry-Education Integration Brand Program Construction Site.
