成都锦城学院始建于2005年，其前身为四川大学锦城学院。2021年5月，经教育部批准，四川大学锦城学院转为独立设置的普通高等学校，并更名为成都锦城学院。学校明确办学属性为非营利性，坚持中国共产党的全面领导，全面贯彻党的教育方针，坚持社会主义办学方向，坚持教育公益属性，致力于培养高素质、复合型、经世致用的应用型人才。

Chengdu Jincheng College was founded in 2005, formerly known as Jincheng College of Sichuan University. In May 2021, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Jincheng College of Sichuan University was transformed into an independent general higher education institution and renamed Chengdu Jincheng College. The university has a clear non-profit nature, adheres to the overall leadership of the Communist Party of China, fully implements the Party's educational policy, adheres to the socialist orientation in running schools, upholds the public welfare nature of education, and is committed to cultivating high-quality, compound, and practical applied talents.

学校坐落于成都市高新西区，占地2100余亩，以全日制普通本科学历教育为主，兼顾全日制专科学历教育。现有全日制普通本、专科学生33700余人，其中本科生32600余人。设有15个教学院和3个特色学院，开设59个本科专业、15个专科专业，形成了文、工、经、管、艺、教等多学科协调发展的办学格局。

The university is located in the High-tech West Zone of Chengdu, covering an area of more than 2100 mu. It mainly focuses on full-time ordinary undergraduate education and also offers full-time junior college education. Currently, there are more than 33,700 full-time undergraduate and junior college students, including over 32,600 undergraduate students. It has 15 teaching colleges and 3 characteristic colleges, offering 59 undergraduate majors and 15 junior college majors, forming a multi-disciplinary coordinated development pattern covering arts, engineering, economics, management, art, education, etc.
