成都理工大学工程技术学院是教育部批准的全日制普通高等学校，由中国核工业西南物理研究院与成都理工大学于2000年在亚洲最大的受控核聚变实验基地创办。学院秉承“两弹一星”精神和“四个一切”核工业精神，恪守成都理工大学“穷究于理、成就于工”的校训，形成了“敢为人先，奋发图强，育才树人，追求卓越”的大学文化。学院在同类院校中首批获得学士学位授予权，形成了以工学为主，涵盖理、工、经、管、文、艺术、体育等七大门类，多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。

The Engineering & Technical College of Chengdu University of Technology is a full-time ordinary institution of higher education approved by the Ministry of Education. It was founded in 2000 by the Southwest Institute of Physics of China National Nuclear Industry and Chengdu University of Technology at the largest controlled nuclear fusion experimental base in Asia. Upholding the "Two Bombs and One Satellite" spirit and the nuclear industry spirit of "Everything for the Cause", the college adheres to the motto of Chengdu University of Technology - "Seeking Truth through Reason, Achieving Success through Engineering", and has formed a university culture of "Daring to Be the First, Striving for Excellence, Cultivating Talents, and Pursuing Excellence". It was among the first batch of independent colleges to be granted the right to confer bachelor's degrees, forming a multidisciplinary and coordinated development discipline system with engineering as the main focus, covering seven disciplines including science, engineering, economics, management, literature, art, and physical education.

学院位于世界著名旅游胜地——四川省乐山市主城区，面朝三江、背依峨眉。校园占地面积1100余亩，绿化覆盖率达70%，拥有全国绿化模范单位、省级绿化模范先进学校、省级园林式单位等荣誉。学院已建成6个省级实验教学示范中心，教学科研设备总值达4亿元，智能化图书馆纸质藏书180余万册。建在学院的中国核聚变博物馆入选第八批全国重点文物保护单位、第三批国家工业遗产，是全国核科普教育基地和思想政治教育高端平台。

The college is located in the main urban area of Leshan City, Sichuan Province, a world-famous tourist destination, facing three rivers and backed by Mount Emei. The campus covers an area of more than 1,100 mu with a green coverage rate of 70%, and has been awarded honors such as National Greening Model Unit, Provincial Greening Model Advanced School, and Provincial Garden-style Unit. The college has built 6 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers with a total value of 400 million yuan in teaching and research equipment, and its intelligent library has more than 1.8 million paper books. The China Nuclear Fusion Museum built on the campus was selected into the eighth batch of national key cultural relics protection units and the third batch of national industrial heritage, serving as a national nuclear science popularization education base and a high-end platform for ideological and political education.

学院现有教师1000余人，副教授以上高级职称及博士、硕士学位教师占比82.9%，双师型教师比例逐年提高。面向全国28个省（直辖市、自治区）招生，现有在校生近20000人，已为社会输送优秀毕业生80000余名，毕业生就业率连年保持在95%以上，先后荣获“全国独立学院毕业生就业竞争力20强”“四川省普通高等学校毕业生就业工作先进单位”等荣誉。

The college has more than 1,000 teachers, with 82.9% of them holding associate senior titles or above, or doctoral and master's degrees, and the proportion of double-qualified teachers is increasing year by year. Enrolling students from 28 provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions) across the country, it currently has nearly 20,000 students and has delivered more than 80,000 outstanding graduates to society. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for years, and the college has successively won honors such as "Top 20 Employment Competitiveness of Graduates from National Independent Colleges" and "Advanced Unit for Graduate Employment Work in Sichuan Provincial Colleges and Universities".
