成都文理学院始建于1999年，前身为四川师范大学文理学院，2014年经教育部批准转设为独立设置的民办普通本科高校，2023年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估并获批四川省硕士学位授予单位立项建设高校。学校以“缔造常青学府，化育幸福人生”为愿景，秉承“博文、明理、弘毅、笃行”校训，构建了文、教、艺、经、管、法、理、工等8个学科门类协调发展的学科专业体系，现有11个二级学院、40余个本科专业，形成教师教育、数智商科、文化创意等五大学科专业群。

Chengdu College of Arts and Sciences was founded in 1999, formerly known as the College of Arts and Sciences of Sichuan Normal University. In 2014, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be transformed into an independent private undergraduate university. In 2023, it passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education and was approved as a university for master's degree authorization立项建设 in Sichuan Province. With the vision of "Creating an Evergreen University and Cultivating a Happy Life" and adhering to the school motto of "Broad Knowledge, Clear Reason, Perseverance and Practice", the university has built a discipline system with coordinated development of 8 disciplines including arts, education, art, economics, management, law, science and engineering. It currently has 11 secondary colleges and more than 40 undergraduate majors, forming five discipline groups such as teacher education, digital business, and cultural creativity.

学校现有专任教师1900余人，其中国家及省部级专家100余人，建有省级实验教学示范中心、校外实习实训基地等教学平台，近三年教师获省级以上教学奖项80余项，学生获国家级竞赛奖项近1000项。学校是全国民办学校党建特色项目建设基地，获四川省绿化模范单位、高校平安校园优秀单位等荣誉，连续多年就业率保持在90%以上，用人单位满意度超97%，已为社会培养应用型人才超10万人。

The university has more than 1,900 full-time teachers, including more than 100 national and provincial experts. It has built teaching platforms such as provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers and off-campus internship and training bases. In the past three years, teachers have won more than 80 teaching awards at or above the provincial level, and students have won nearly 1,000 national competition awards. The university is a national private school party building characteristic project construction base, and has won honors such as Sichuan Provincial Green Model Unit and Excellent Unit of Safe Campus in Colleges and Universities. The employment rate has remained above 90% for many years, the satisfaction rate of employers has exceeded 97%, and it has cultivated more than 100,000 applied talents for the society.
