成都外国语学院前身为2000年创办的四川外国语大学成都学院，2023年9月经教育部批准转设为独立设置的民办本科高校，是四川省唯一的专业外国语高校。学校以“塑造学生美好未来”为使命，致力于建设高水平、国际化、应用型外国语大学，培养具备就业实力、工作能力、发展潜力和个人魅力的优秀人才。

Chengdu International Studies University (CISU) originated from Chengdu College of Sichuan International Studies University founded in 2000. Approved by the Ministry of Education in September 2023, it was transformed into an independent private undergraduate university, being the only professional foreign language institution of higher education in Sichuan Province. With the mission of "shaping a bright future for students", the university is committed to building a high-level, international, and application-oriented foreign studies university, cultivating outstanding talents with employment competitiveness, work capabilities, development potential, and personal charm.

学校设有成都、宜宾两个校区，成都校区位于都江堰青城山麓，宜宾校区地处宜宾临港经济技术开发区大学城核心区域，总占地面积1400余亩，面向全国27个省（市、自治区）招生，现有全日制在校生24000余人。开设本专科专业65个，涵盖16个外语语种（外语类专业32个），其中意大利语、阿拉伯语、捷克语等多个语种为四川省内唯一设置，形成以外语学科为主，文学、经济、管理、艺术、教育等多学科协调发展的学科体系。

The university has two campuses in Chengdu and Yibin. The Chengdu Campus is located at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain in Dujiangyan, while the Yibin Campus is situated in the core area of the University Town in Yibin Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone. Covering a total area of over 1,400 mu, it enrolls students from 27 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across China, with more than 24,000 full-time students. It offers 65 undergraduate and junior college programs covering 16 foreign languages (32 foreign language-related majors), among which Italian, Arabic, Czech, and other languages are uniquely offered in Sichuan Province, forming a disciplinary system dominated by foreign language disciplines and coordinated development of literature, economics, management, art, education, and other disciplines.

师资队伍中拥有教育部教学指导委员会委员2人、省级教学指导委员会委员5人，常年聘有16个语种的外籍教师，建成国家级一流本科专业（法语）、5个省级一流本科专业及4个省级应用型示范专业。教学设施包括多语种同声传译实验室、国际酒店管理实验室等200余间，与24个国家的80余所高校建立合作，每年选派500余名学生赴海外深造，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，用人单位满意度达95%。

The faculty includes 2 members of the Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education and 5 members of provincial-level teaching guidance committees, with foreign teachers of 16 languages employed all year round. It has built 1 national first-class undergraduate major (French), 5 provincial first-class undergraduate majors, and 4 provincial application-oriented demonstration majors. Teaching facilities include over 200 laboratories such as multilingual simultaneous interpretation laboratories and international hotel management laboratories. The university has established cooperation with more than 80 universities in 24 countries, sending over 500 students to study abroad each year. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many years, with employer satisfaction reaching 95%.
