长安大学兴华学院创办于2006年，是经中华人民共和国教育部批准，由国家“211工程”重点建设大学、“985工程”优势学科创新平台建设高校、“双一流”建设学科院校——长安大学，按照新机制、新模式举办的全日制普通本科独立学院。学院位于陕西省西安市雁塔区富鱼路81号，占地面积459亩，依托长安大学优质的学科资源，秉承其办学特色，开设建筑学、土木工程、交通运输、交通工程等15个专业。

Chang'an University Xinghua College was founded in 2006. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate independent college approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and organized by Chang'an University, a key university under the national "211 Project", a university with advantages in the "985 Project" discipline innovation platform, and a "Double First-Class" construction discipline institution, in accordance with new mechanisms and models. The college is located at No. 81 Fuyu Road, Yanta District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, covering an area of 459 mu. Relying on the high-quality discipline resources of Chang'an University and adhering to its school-running characteristics, it offers 15 majors including Architecture, Civil Engineering, Transportation, and Traffic Engineering.

学院实行董事会领导下的院长负责制，院领导、各专业系主任及任课教师主要从长安大学选聘，形成了以专业学科带头人为领军、骨干教师为核心的教师团队。学院坚持“育人为本、质量至上、注重素质、强调能力、突出特色”的指导方针，确立了“明德厚学，求实创新”的校训，致力于培养“就业好、创业有能力、深造有基础、发展有后劲”的高素质应用型人才，为地方经济社会发展提供人才保障。

The college implements the president responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors. The college leaders, directors of various professional departments and teachers are mainly selected from Chang'an University, forming a teaching team led by professional discipline leaders and with backbone teachers as the core. Adhering to the guiding principle of "education-oriented, quality first, focusing on quality, emphasizing ability and highlighting characteristics", the college has established the school motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Truth-seeking and Innovation", and is committed to cultivating high-quality applied talents who are "good at employment, capable of entrepreneurship, have a foundation for further study and have stamina for development", so as to provide talent guarantee for local economic and social development.
