忠南国立大学（Chungnam National University，简称CNU）创建于1952年，位于有“韩国硅谷”之称的韩国第五大城市大田广域市，建有大德和宝云两个校区。学校的主要行政机关、附属机构、13所学院及43个研究所设在大德校区，宝云校区则设有医学院和附属综合医院。作为韩国中部地区规模最大、实力最雄厚的综合性国立重点大学，学校以“培养优秀人才、建立产研学官一体化协作体系”为发展目标，在信息技术、生物科学、材料科学等领域科研水平领先，经济管理类学科亦居于韩国前列。

Chungnam National University (CNU), founded in 1952, is located in Daejeon Metropolitan City, the fifth largest city in South Korea known as the "Silicon Valley of Korea". It has two campuses: Daejeon and Boyun. The main administrative offices, affiliated institutions, 13 colleges, and 43 research institutes are situated on the Daejeon Campus, while the Boyun Campus houses the College of Medicine and affiliated general hospital. As the largest and most powerful comprehensive national key university in central South Korea, the university aims to "cultivate outstanding talents and establish an integrated industry-university-research-government collaboration system", leading in research in information technology, biological sciences, materials science, and ranking among the top in South Korea in economics and management disciplines.

学校现有学生约27,435人，教职工约1,900人，与67个国家和地区的430所高校建立合作关系，有来自70个国家和地区的989名国际学生在校学习。奖学金政策丰厚，专业课学生中50%可获得学费全免或部分减免，理工科研究生学费减免比例达90%-100%。其地理位置优越，周边环绕世宗市行政中心、国际科学商务区等国家战略核心机关，为学生提供了良好的教育研究与实习就业环境，是中国教育部认定学历的韩国高校之一。

The university currently has approximately 27,435 students and 1,900 faculty members. It has established cooperative relationships with 430 universities in 67 countries and regions, with 989 international students from 70 countries and regions studying on campus. The scholarship policy is generous: 50% of undergraduate students can receive full or partial tuition waivers, and graduate students in science and engineering can enjoy 90%-100% tuition reduction. Strategically located around core national institutions such as the Sejong City Administrative Center and International Science Business Belt, it provides an excellent environment for education, research, internships, and employment. It is one of the Korean universities recognized by China's Ministry of Education for academic qualifications.
