Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) is a leading public research university in the Czech Republic, with its main campus located in the Suchdol district of northeastern Prague. Tracing its roots to the Czech Royal Agricultural University founded in 1906, the university underwent several reorganizations and name changes before adopting its current title in 2016. As a prominent academic institution in European life sciences, CZU specializes in agricultural sciences, environmental studies, forestry, food technology, and economic management, offering comprehensive education from bachelor to doctoral levels. It currently enrolls approximately 28,000 students and employs over 1,500 faculty members.

The university comprises 10 faculties offering over 100 programs, including specialized fields such as agricultural mechanical engineering, geographic information systems, veterinary medicine, aquaculture, and horticulture. It boasts modern teaching and research facilities, with internationally advanced laboratories in molecular biology, ecology, and food science. CZU actively promotes internationalization, with international students accounting for 73.5% of its student body, and has established exchange programs with universities worldwide. English-taught programs are available (requiring TOEFL iBT 70 or IELTS 6.0). In the 2025 QS World University Rankings, CZU placed in the 711-720 range, with its agricultural science discipline ranked among the top 50 globally.
