滇池学院（原云南大学滇池学院）创办于2001年，2023年10月经教育部批准转设为独立设置的民办本科院校，是以培养高素质应用型人才为目标的综合性高等学府。学校现有昆明滇池国家旅游度假区、杨林和阳宗海三个校区，总占地面积1288亩，建筑面积54万平方米，全日制在校生近25000人，累计为社会输送毕业生7.5万余人。

Dianchi College (formerly Yunnan University Dianchi College), founded in 2001 and approved by the Ministry of Education to become an independent private undergraduate institution in October 2023, is a comprehensive higher education institution aiming to cultivate high-quality applied talents. The college has three campuses located in Kunming Dianchi National Tourist Resort, Yanglin, and Yangzonghai, covering a total area of 1288 mu with a building area of 540,000 square meters. It has nearly 25,000 full-time students and has cumulatively graduated over 75,000 students for society.

学校师资力量雄厚，现有专任教师1399人，高级职称教师占比41.1%，其中国家教学名师、国务院特殊津贴专家等国家级人才4人，省级教学名师6人。教学科研实力突出，拥有国家级质量工程项目4项、省级125项，法学学科为云南省民办高校唯一省级重点学科，金融学、英语等4个专业获评省级特色专业，获云南省教学成果一等奖2项。

The college boasts a strong faculty of 1,399 full-time teachers, with 41.1% holding senior professional titles, including 4 national-level talents such as National Teaching Masters and experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, and 6 provincial-level teaching masters. It has achieved outstanding performance in teaching and research, with 4 national-level quality engineering projects and 125 provincial-level ones. The Law discipline is the only provincial key discipline among private universities in Yunnan, while 4 majors including Finance and English have been awarded provincial characteristic majors, and 2 first prizes in Yunnan Provincial Teaching Achievements.

学校深化产教融合，与华为、甲骨文等企业共建现代产业学院，投入1.2亿元建设实验实训平台，获教育部产教融合协同育人项目42项。学生培养成效显著，近三年3700余人考取研究生，英语专业四八级通过率居全省同类院校首位，国家法律职业资格考试通过率超50%，毕业生就业率连续保持95%以上，用人单位满意度达98%。

The college deepens industry-education integration by establishing modern industrial colleges with enterprises like Huawei and Oracle, investing 120 million yuan in experimental training platforms, and obtaining 42 industry-education integration collaborative education projects from the Ministry of Education. Its student cultivation has achieved remarkable results: over 3,700 students have been admitted to postgraduate programs in recent three years, the passing rates of TEM-8 and TEM-4 for English majors rank first among similar institutions in Yunnan, the passing rate of the National Judicial Examination exceeds 50%, and the employment rate of graduates has maintained above 95% for consecutive years with 98% employer satisfaction.
