大理农林职业技术学院是经云南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等学校，前身为1956年创建的大理农业学校，2013年正式升格为职业技术学院。学校坐落于国家级历史文化名城大理古城，东眺洱海、西枕苍山，北临崇圣寺三塔，校园环境优美，办学历史悠久。

Dali Vocational and Technical College of Agriculture and Forestry is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Dali Agricultural School founded in 1956, and it was officially upgraded to a vocational and technical college in 2013. The college is located in the national historical and cultural city of Dali Ancient Town, with Erhai Lake to the east, Cangshan Mountain to the west, and the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple to the north, boasting a beautiful campus environment and a long history of running schools.

学校总建筑面积79539.66平方米，固定资产总值25686万元，拥有理化、土肥、园林、农机等专业实验室33个，实训室17个，校内外实训基地43个，馆藏图书20万册。现有教职工228人，其中硕士研究生75名、博士研究生1名，正高级职称5人，副高级职称40人，双师型教师49人，形成了一支结构合理、素质精良的师资队伍。

The college has a total construction area of 79,539.66 square meters and a total fixed asset value of 256.86 million yuan. It boasts 33 professional laboratories for physics and chemistry, soil and fertilizer, gardening, agricultural machinery, etc., 17 training rooms, 43 on-campus and off-campus training bases, and a collection of 200,000 books. There are 228 faculty members, including 75 master's degree holders, 1 doctoral degree holder, 5 with senior professional titles, 40 with associate senior professional titles, and 49 "double-qualified" teachers, forming a well-structured and high-quality teaching team.

学校以农林技术为特色，开设畜牧兽医、园林技术、食品质量与安全、计算机网络技术等31个专科专业，注重实践教学与产教融合，与多家企业共建实训基地，为区域农业农村发展培养了大批技术技能型人才。

With agriculture and forestry technology as its characteristic, the college offers 31 specialized programs including animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, garden technology, food quality and safety, and computer network technology. It emphasizes practical teaching and industry-education integration, and has established training bases with many enterprises, cultivating a large number of technical and skilled talents for regional agricultural and rural development.
