大连工业大学艺术与信息工程学院是经教育部批准设立，由大连工业大学按新机制和新模式举办的全日制普通本科高校（独立学院），成立于2002年6月，现有全日制本科生8300余人。学校先后获得“教育部‘1+X证书’试点院校”“全国综合实力独立学院”“辽宁省高校毕业生就业工作先进集体”等荣誉称号。

Dalian Polytechnic University College of Art and Information Engineering is a full-time ordinary undergraduate college (independent college) approved by the Ministry of Education and organized by Dalian Polytechnic University under a new mechanism and model. Established in June 2002, it currently has more than 8,300 full-time undergraduates. The school has successively won honorary titles such as "Ministry of Education '1+X Certificate' Pilot Institution", "National Comprehensive Strength Independent College", and "Advanced Collective for Employment Work of College Graduates in Liaoning Province".

学校地处辽宁省大连市庄河校区，占地面积770余亩，建筑面积25.5万平方米，形成“人文校园、文明校园、生态校园、智慧校园”特色。现开设32个本科专业，以工为主，工、艺、文、管、经、教育等六大学科协调发展，拥有省级一流建设专业1个、一流课程32门，专任教师400余人，硕士以上占比85%，副教授以上占比35%。

Located at the Zhuanghe campus in Dalian, Liaoning Province, the school covers an area of more than 770 mu with a building area of 255,000 square meters, featuring a "humanistic campus, civilized campus, ecological campus, and smart campus". It currently offers 32 undergraduate majors, focusing on engineering, with coordinated development of six disciplines including engineering, art, literature, management, economics, and education. It has 1 provincial first-class construction major, 32 first-class courses, more than 400 full-time teachers, 85% of whom have master's degrees or above, and 35% are associate professors or above.
