大同师范高等专科学校坐落于中国历史文化名城大同市武周山下十里河畔，是一所有着优质教育资源和优良办学传统的百年老校。学校始创于1905年，初名大同府中学堂，1913年改称山西省立第三中学，1972年更名为大同师范学校，2006年4月更名为山西大同大学大同师范分校，2018年3月正式成立为大同师范高等专科学校。

Datong Normal College is located on the bank of Shili River at the foot of Wuzhou Mountain in Datong, a famous historical and cultural city in China. It is a century-old school with high-quality educational resources and excellent school-running traditions. Founded in 1905, the school was initially named Datongfu Middle School. In 1913, it was renamed Shanxi Provincial No. 3 Middle School. In 1972, it was renamed Datong Normal School. In April 2006, it was renamed Datong Normal Branch of Shanxi Datong University. In March 2018, it was officially established as Datong Normal College.

学校占地487亩，总建筑面积15.5万平方米，校内现存山西省立第三中学（旧址）建筑群为全国第六批重点文物保护单位。学校以师范教育为特色，开设学前教育、小学教育、语文教育等19个专科专业，其中师范类专业8个，非师范类专业11个，面向全国招生，致力于培养基础教育领域的高素质技术技能人才。

The school covers an area of 487 mu with a total construction area of 155,000 square meters. The existing建筑群 of Shanxi Provincial No. 3 Middle School (old site) on campus is the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. With normal education as its characteristic, the school offers 19 specialized majors including preschool education, primary school education, and Chinese language education, among which there are 8 normal majors and 11 non-normal majors. It enrolls students nationwide and is committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents in the field of basic education.
