滇西应用技术大学是2015年4月经教育部批准设立的全国首批应用技术大学，位于云南省大理白族自治州大理市。学校以服务滇西地区经济社会发展为己任，聚焦培养高层次应用技术型人才，设有珠宝玉石学院、健康管理学院、智能制造学院等多个特色学院，形成了以应用技术为核心的学科专业体系。

Dianxi University of Applied Sciences is one of the first batch of applied technology universities approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2015, located in Dali City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The university is committed to serving the economic and social development of western Yunnan, focusing on cultivating high-level applied technical talents.
