德州科技职业学院始建于1988年，是经山东省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通高等民办院校，前身为禹城县农机化学校，2001年升格为高职院校。学院现有德州（禹城）和青岛两个校区，总占地面积2260亩，校舍建筑面积80万平方米，教学科研设备总值1.15亿元，馆藏纸质图书160万册，全日制在校生1.7万余人，面向全国招生。

Technological Vocational College of Dezhou was founded in 1988. It is a full-time private higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Yucheng County Agricultural Mechanization School, which was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2001. The college has two campuses in Dezhou (Yucheng) and Qingdao, covering a total area of 2260 mu with a building area of 800,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research equipment is 115 million yuan, and the collection of paper books is 1.6 million volumes. There are more than 17,000 full-time students enrolled nationwide.

学院以培养技术技能人才为目标，开设装备制造、电子信息、医药卫生、财经商贸等11个大类49个专业，拥有省级高水平专业群1个、品牌专业群1个、示范特色专业8个。深化产教融合，与华为、海尔等企业共建实训基地200余个，近三年学生获省级以上技能大赛奖项805项，毕业生就业率连续保持96%以上，被联合国教科文组织评为“全国首批十所就业型重点大学”。

With the goal of cultivating technical and skilled talents, the college offers 49 majors in 11 categories including equipment manufacturing, electronic information, medicine and health, finance and commerce. It has 1 provincial high-level professional group, 1 brand professional group, and 8 demonstration characteristic majors. Deepening the integration of industry and education, it has jointly built more than 200 training bases with enterprises such as Huawei and Haier. In the past three years, students have won 805 provincial and above skill competition awards, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 96% for consecutive years. It was rated as "one of the first ten employment-oriented key universities in China" by UNESCO.
