福建商学院坐落于国家历史文化名城——福州，是福建省唯一以商为名的省属公办本科院校。其办学渊源可追溯至1906年创办的“福建官立商业学堂”和“福州青年会书院”，2016年经教育部批准升格为本科院校，2017年原福建对外经济贸易职业技术学院整体并入。学校现有鼓楼、连江、马尾三个校区，占地面积1451余亩，全日制在校生12469人，形成以管理学、经济学为主，管、经、工、艺、文等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系，开设会计学、国际经济与贸易等37个本科专业，被誉为“闽商摇篮”“外贸摇篮”。

Fujian Business University is located in Fuzhou, a national historical and cultural city. It is the only public undergraduate university named after "business" in Fujian Province. Its educational origin can be traced back to the "Fujian Official Commercial School" and "Fuzhou Young Men's Christian Association College" founded in 1906. Approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university in 2016, and in 2017, the former Fujian Foreign Economic and Trade Vocational and Technical College was fully merged into it. The university has three campuses in Gulou, Lianjiang and Mawei, covering an area of more than 1,451 mu, with 12,469 full-time students. It has formed a disciplinary and professional system featuring coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as management, economics, engineering, art and literature, with management and economics as the main disciplines. It offers 37 undergraduate majors including Accounting and International Economics and Trade, and is known as the "Cradle of Fujian Merchants" and "Cradle of Foreign Trade".

In recent years, it has been awarded titles such as "Top 50 Universities with Typical Experience in Graduate Employment in China" and "Civilized Campus of Fujian Province". It has 6 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 3 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, 131 on-campus laboratories (training rooms) and 201 off-campus practical teaching bases.
