阜阳理工学院（Fuyang University of Technology）前身为2003年始建的阜阳师范大学信息工程学院，2023年10月经教育部批准转设，是安徽省教育厅主管、阜阳市政府管理的国有独资全日制理工类普通本科院校。学校坐落于全国文明城市阜阳市，毗邻颍州西湖，距主城区2.5公里、高铁西站3.5公里、机场5公里，交通便利，环境优美。

Fuyang University of Technology, formerly known as the College of Information Engineering of Fuyang Normal University founded in 2003, was restructured with the approval of the Ministry of Education in October 2023. It is a state-owned full-time public undergraduate institution of science and technology under the administration of the Education Department of Anhui Province and Fuyang Municipal Government. Located in Fuyang, a National Civilized City, the university is adjacent to Yingzhou West Lake, 2.5 km from the main urban area, 3.5 km from Fuyang West High-speed Railway Station, and 5 km from the airport, enjoying convenient transportation and a beautiful environment.

学校占地1015亩，总投资约41亿元，规划总建筑面积49.2万平方米，在校生规模13500人。教学科研设备总值4340.85万元，馆藏图书79万余册，拥有33个中外网络资源数据库及89个专业实习基地。现有专兼职教职工529人，高级职称占比32.8%，博士学位教师占比37.8%，设8个二级学院及37个本科专业，形成以工学为主体，经、管、文、艺等多学科协调发展的学科体系。

The university covers an area of 1015 mu (about 676,667 square meters) with a total investment of approximately 4.1 billion yuan. It has a planned total construction area of 492,000 square meters and a student capacity of 13,500. The total value of teaching and research equipment is 43.4085 million yuan, with a collection of over 790,000 books, 33 Chinese and foreign online resource databases, and 89 professional internship bases. There are 529 full-time and part-time faculty members, with 32.8% holding senior professional titles and 37.8% having doctoral degrees. The university comprises 8 secondary colleges and offers 37 undergraduate programs, forming a discipline system centered on engineering and coordinated development of economics, management, literature, art, and other disciplines.
