福州英华职业学院溯源于1881年创办的英华书院，迄今已有144年历史，被福州市人民政府誉为“福州教育名片”。2001年经福建省人民政府批准成为首批普通高等职业学院，纳入国家统一招生计划；2019年通过第二轮人才培养工作评估，2020年获批成立福建省院士专家工作站（省内唯一设立院士工作站的民办院校），2023年当选全国乡村振兴产教融合联盟理事单位。学院现位于福州市闽侯县荆溪镇，新校区占地240亩，设有教育与外语系、医疗护理系、信息技术系等6个教学单位，形成以工科为主、多学科协调发展的专业体系，先后荣获“教育百强学校”“5A平安校园”等荣誉称号。

Fuzhou Yinghua Vocational College traces its roots to Yinghua Academy founded in 1881, boasting a 144-year history and honored as "Fuzhou's Education Business Card" by the Fuzhou Municipal Government. Approved by Fujian Provincial Government in 2001 as one of the first higher vocational colleges, it was incorporated into the national unified enrollment plan. The college passed the second round of talent cultivation evaluation in 2019, established Fujian Provincial Academician Expert Workstation (the only private college with such station in Fujian) in 2020, and became a council member of the National Rural Revitalization Industry-Education Integration Alliance in 2023. Located in Jingxi Town, Minhou County, Fuzhou, the 240-mu new campus houses 6 teaching units including Department of Education & Foreign Languages and Department of Medical Nursing, forming an engineering-oriented multidisciplinary professional system. It has been awarded titles like "Top 100 Education Institution" and "5A Safe Campus".

学院始终坚持产教融合、校企合作的办学模式，与福州大学、福建师范大学等省内高校合作开展自考专本衔接项目，为学生提供升学通道。百余年办学历史中，培养了包括“中国化工之父”侯德榜、数学家陈景润等16位院士在内的大批杰出人才，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，受到用人单位广泛好评。学院现有全日制在校生8000余人，教职工400余人，教学设备总值超5000万元，建有各类专业实训室60余个，构建了“入学即入岗、学习即工作”的实践教学体系。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, the college collaborates with Fuzhou University, Fujian Normal University and other provincial universities to offer self-taught undergraduate bridging programs, providing升学 pathways for students. Throughout its century-old history, it has cultivated numerous outstanding talents including 16 academicians such as Hou Debang ("Father of Chinese Chemical Industry") and mathematician Chen Jingrun. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for years, widely praised by employers. The college currently has over 8,000 full-time students and more than 400 faculty members, with teaching equipment worth over 50 million yuan and more than 60 professional training rooms, building a practical teaching system of "enrollment as entry, learning as work".
