广州城市理工学院位于粤港澳大湾区中心城市——广州市，是经教育部批准设立的一所以工科为主，经济、管理、文学、理学、艺术协调发展的多科性应用型民办高校。学校前身为2005年设立的华南理工大学广州汽车学院，2021年转设为独立设置的普通本科院校并更现名。校园占地面积116.87万平方米，校舍建筑面积52.16万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值1.76亿元，馆藏纸质图书205.93万册，现有全日制在校生22000余人。

Guangzhou City University of Technology is located in Guangzhou, a central city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a non-profit private university approved by the Ministry of Education, focusing on engineering with coordinated development of economics, management, literature, science, and arts. Formerly known as Guangzhou Automobile College of South China University of Technology established in 2005, it was transformed into an independent general undergraduate institution in 2021 and adopted its current name. The campus covers an area of 1.1687 million square meters with a building area of 521,600 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 176 million yuan, and the library has 2.0593 million paper books. Currently, there are over 22,000 full-time students.

学校设有16个学院、46个本科专业，涵盖理、工、经、管、文、艺六大学科门类，拥有省级重点学科2个、省级一流本科专业建设点6个、省级特色专业11个。师资队伍中，国务院特殊津贴专家、全国优秀教师等省级以上高层次人才30余人次，3个专业通过IEET工科认证，11个专业获得IACBE国际商科认证。近五年，学生在各类创新创业竞赛中获国际性奖项105项、国家级424项，专利申请量和授权量稳居广东省民办本科院校前列。

The university has 16 colleges and 46 undergraduate programs covering six disciplines: science, engineering, economics, management, literature, and arts. It boasts 2 provincial key disciplines, 6 provincial first-class undergraduate program construction sites, and 11 provincial characteristic specialties. The faculty includes over 30 high-level talents at or above the provincial level, such as experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council and national outstanding teachers. Three programs have obtained IEET engineering certification, and 11 programs have received IACBE international business certification. In the past five years, students have won 105 international awards and 424 national awards in various innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, with the number of patent applications and authorizations ranking among the top private undergraduate universities in Guangdong Province.
