广东生态工程职业学院是经广东省人民政府批准设立、教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等职业学院，前身为1953年创建的国家级重点中专广东省林业职业技术学校，2014年正式升格为高等职业学院。2021年与广东省海洋工程职业技术学校实施集团办学，形成广州天河、海珠两个校区，总占地面积近700亩，校外实训基地1500亩，在校生约1.3万名。

Guangdong Eco-Engineering Polytechnic is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor is the nationally key technical secondary school Guangdong Forestry Vocational Technical School founded in 1953, which was officially upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2014. In 2021, it implemented group education with Guangdong Ocean Engineering Vocational Technical School, forming two campuses in Tianhe and Haizhu, Guangzhou, with a total area of nearly 700 mu and 1,500 mu of off-campus training bases, and about 13,000 students.

学校以生态环保为特色，下设11个二级学院，开设林业技术、园林工程、园艺技术、环境监测与控制技术等44个专业，构建了覆盖生态建设、环境保护、绿色产业全链条的专业体系。现有教职工767人，其中专任教师602人（博士80人），双师型教师占比达65%，2022年入选广东省域高水平高职院校培育单位，2020-2021年全国林业类高职院校排名第12位。

With ecological environmental protection as its characteristic, the college has 11 secondary colleges and offers 44 majors including Forestry Technology, Landscape Engineering, Horticultural Technology, and Environmental Monitoring and Control Technology, forming a professional system covering the entire chain of ecological construction, environmental protection, and green industries. It has 767 faculty members, including 602 full-time teachers (80 with doctoral degrees), and 65% of them are "double-qualified" teachers. In 2022, it was selected as a cultivation unit for high-level vocational colleges in Guangdong Province, ranking 12th among national forestry vocational colleges in 2020-2021.

作为广东省林业职业教育集团理事长单位，学校建有150余个校内外实训基地，与100余家企业开展校企合作，重点培养生态修复、园林设计、智慧农业等领域技术技能人才。近年来获国家级教学成果奖2项，省级以上科研项目56项，学生就业率连续保持在96%以上，为绿美广东生态建设和乡村振兴提供了重要人才支撑。

As the chairman unit of Guangdong Forestry Vocational Education Group, the college has built more than 150 on-campus and off-campus training bases, and carried out school-enterprise cooperation with more than 100 enterprises, focusing on cultivating technical and skilled talents in fields such as ecological restoration, landscape design, and smart agriculture. In recent years, it has won 2 national teaching achievement awards and 56 scientific research projects above the provincial level, with the employment rate of students remaining above 96% for consecutive years, providing important talent support for the ecological construction of Green and Beautiful Guangdong and rural revitalization.
