广东财经大学是一所以经济学、管理学、法学为主体，经、管、法、文、理、工、艺等多学科协调发展的广东省重点建设大学，是广东省“冲一流、补短板、强特色”特色高校提升计划建设高校。学校始建于1983年，原名广东财经学院，1985年更名为广东商学院，2013年更名为广东财经大学。学校现有广州和佛山三水两个校区，校园占地面积2275亩，校舍建筑面积72.8万平方米。

Guangdong University of Finance and Economics (GDUFE) is a key university in Guangdong Province, mainly focusing on economics, management, and law, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as economics, management, law, literature, science, engineering, and art. It is a university under the "Strive for First-class, Make up for Shortcomings, and Strengthen Characteristics" characteristic university promotion plan in Guangdong Province. Founded in 1983, the university was originally named Guangdong College of Finance and Economics, renamed Guangdong University of Business Studies in 1985, and changed to its current name in 2013. The university now has two campuses in Guangzhou and Sanshui, Foshan, covering an area of 2275 mu with a building area of 728,000 square meters.

学校坚持立德树人根本任务，着力培养具有“厚德、励学、笃行、拓新”精神，具备扎实专业基础、较强实践能力和创新精神的高素质应用型人才。学校现有全日制本科生、研究生31000多人，教职工1700多人，其中专任教师1200多人，具有高级职称教师占比超过40%。学校设有25个学院，63个本科专业，拥有理论经济学、应用经济学、工商管理、法学、统计学等5个一级学科硕士学位授权点，35个二级学科硕士学位授权点，以及13个专业硕士学位授权点。

The university currently has over 31,000 full-time undergraduates and postgraduates, and more than 1,700 faculty members, including over 1,200 full-time teachers, with senior professional titles accounting for more than 40%. It has 25 colleges and 63 undergraduate majors, 5 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points including theoretical economics, applied economics, business administration, law, and statistics, 35 second-level discipline master's degree authorization points, and 13 professional master's degree authorization points.
