赣南师范大学科技学院是一所经国家教育部和江西省人民政府批准设立，实施本科层次学历教育的全日制普通高等学校（院校国标代码：13439），由赣南师范大学举办的独立学院。办学20余年来，学院秉承赣南师范大学扎根红土、潜心育人的办学传统，坚持弘扬苏区精神，为地方经济社会发展培养应用型人才的办学定位，取得了丰硕的办学成果，先后获评全省依法治校示范校、全省高校思想政治教育工作先进集体、全省高校毕业生就业工作优秀单位等荣誉。

Gannan Normal University College of Science and Technology is a full-time ordinary institution of higher education approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, offering undergraduate-level education (institution code: 13439). It is an independent college sponsored by Gannan Normal University. Over more than 20 years of operation, the college has inherited the educational tradition of Gannan Normal University, which is rooted in the red land and dedicated to educating people. It adheres to the school-running orientation of carrying forward the spirit of the Soviet Area and cultivating applied talents for local economic and social development, and has achieved fruitful school-running results. It has been successively awarded honors such as the Provincial Model School for Running Schools in Accordance with Law, the Advanced Collective for Ideological and Political Education in Provincial Colleges and Universities, and the Excellent Unit for Employment Work of College Graduates in the Province.

学院坐落在国家历史文化名城、江西省域副中心城市、享有“江南宋城”“客家摇篮”“红色故都”等美誉的赣州市中心城区，校园环境优美，文化底蕴深厚，教学设施完备。设有9个教学系（部），开设28个本科专业，涵盖法学、文学、史学、理学、工学、经济学、管理学、教育学、艺术学9个学科门类，面向全国13个省市招生，现有全日制在校生5200余人。学院现有专兼职教师300余人，形成了一支结构合理、教学水平优良的师资队伍。

The college is located in the central urban area of Ganzhou City, a national historical and cultural city, a sub-central city in Jiangxi Province, and known as "Southern Song Dynasty City", "Hakka Cradle" and "Red Hometown". The campus has a beautiful environment, profound cultural heritage and complete teaching facilities. It has 9 teaching departments, offering 28 undergraduate majors covering 9 disciplines including law, literature, history, science, engineering, economics, management, education and art. It enrolls students from 13 provinces and cities across the country, with more than 5,200 full-time students. The college has more than 300 full-time and part-time teachers, forming a teaching team with reasonable structure and excellent teaching level.

经过20余年的办学，学院学科专业建设取得显著成效。在2022年江西省第二轮专业综合评价中，学院16个专业参与评价，所有专业排名均位列全省同类院校前三，其中7个专业位列第一、6个专业位列第二；在全省所有本科院校中，学院有2个专业位列前30%，4个专业位列前50%。学院办学质量和社会声誉稳定提升，办学以来，学生在省级以上各类学科专业竞赛获奖累计超过4000人次。（以上数据截至2025年10月）

After more than 20 years of running the school, the college has achieved remarkable results in discipline and professional construction. In the second round of professional comprehensive evaluation in Jiangxi Province in 2022, 16 majors of the college participated in the evaluation, and all majors ranked among the top three in the province's similar institutions, among which 7 majors ranked first and 6 majors ranked second; among all undergraduate colleges and universities in the province, 2 majors of the college ranked in the top 30%, and 4 majors ranked in the top 50%. The quality and social reputation of the college have been steadily improved.
