赣南师范大学位于江西省赣州市，是一所具有鲜明教师教育特色、文理为主、多学科协调发展的省属本科师范院校。学校创办于1958年6月，时为赣南师范专科学校，1984年升格为赣南师范学院，2016年更名为赣南师范大学。学校始终坚持立德树人根本任务，秉持“崇德、尚学、求实、创新”的校训，为国家和地方培养了大批基础教育师资和高级专门人才。

Gannan Normal University is located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. It is a provincial undergraduate normal university with distinct characteristics in teacher education, focusing on liberal arts and sciences, and developing multiple disciplines in a coordinated manner. Founded in June 1958 as Gannan Teachers College, it was upgraded to Gannan Normal University in 1984 and renamed Gannan Normal University in 2016. The university has always adhered to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, upheld the school motto of "Virtue, Learning, Practicality, and Innovation", and has cultivated a large number of basic education teachers and senior professionals for the country and local areas.

学校现有黄金、章贡、白塔（在建）三个校区，占地面积近2300亩。设有23个教学单位，66个本科专业，涵盖法学、经济学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、农学、管理学、艺术学等十大学科门类。拥有1个博士后科研流动站，1个一级学科博士点，21个一级学科硕士点，15个硕士专业学位授权点，形成了完整的学士、硕士、博士人才培养体系。

The university currently has three campuses: Huangjin, Zhanggong, and Baita (under construction), covering an area of nearly 2,300 mu. It has 23 teaching units and 66 undergraduate majors, covering ten disciplines including law, economics, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, management, and art. It has 1 post-doctoral research station, 1 first-level discipline doctoral program, 21 first-level discipline master programs, and 15 master's professional degree authorization programs, forming a complete talent training system for bachelor, master, and doctor.

学校师资力量雄厚，现有专任教师1200余人，其中高级职称教师600余人，具有博士学位教师500余人。拥有国家“万人计划”领军人才、新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选、教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划人选等国家级人才20余人，省级人才100余人。近年来，学校荣获国家级教学成果奖、全国教育教学信息化大赛一等奖等多项荣誉，教学科研水平稳步提升。

The university has a strong faculty, with more than 1,200 full-time teachers, including over 600 with senior professional titles and more than 500 with doctoral degrees. It has more than 20 national-level talents such as leading talents of the "Ten Thousand Talents Program", national candidates for the New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project, and candidates for the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Support Program, as well as more than 100 provincial-level talents. In recent years, the university has won many honors such as the National Teaching Achievement Award and the first prize of the National Education and Teaching Informatization Competition, and the level of teaching and scientific research has steadily improved.
